  • We have to admit RT is the only source of the ultimate truth. You wanna know who started the war? - Look no further, ask RT. RT practices the same old trick again. A western-born "journalist" (in quote marks) interviews a Western "authority." Bingo! Credibility is established. What follows next, doesn't matter. Buchanan couldov presented the case that 2x2=5. As for Anissa Naouai, she open her mind & her legs to whoever pays more. She calls it being roving. It's prostitution in reality.

  • This man is fucking idiot and RT - Putin's whore !

  • It stands to reason that if that had been Georgia’s aim, it would have much preferred to have their combat-tested, well-trained battalions in Georgia instead of watching their country get trampled from TV screens in Mesopotamia.

  • The bulk of Georgia’s best-trained, equipped, and most experienced troops weren’t even in Georgia during the war. Georgia had 2,000 soldiers deployed in Iraq, and they didn’t even have a chance to fire a shot in the conflict. By the time all these forces were withdrawn to Georgia, the war had ended. The absence of Georgia’s best troops has also been cited as being one of the clearest signs that Tbilisi did not have a premeditated intention to get into a war,

  • "In Russia we only had two TV channels. Channel One was propaganda. Channel Two consisted of a KGB officer telling you: Turn back at once to Channel One."

    — Yakov Smirnoff

  • shut up fuckin biaaaaaaaaaaaaatch!

  • Listen everyone both sides have their fault like any other but that still doesnt change the fact the GEORGIA STARTED THIS WAR plain and simple

  • @FuckYouJesusChrist1 lol, not really, why would georgia attack their own territory?

  • that "journalist" comes off as a teenager. they hire anybody out of kindergarden these days. Pat must have been annoyed by her.

  • shut up u dickface

  • @comrades4life1 What LOL!

  • Tskhinvali is not even half the damage that has been in Grozny. You heard a lot of propaganda. there were not only "peacekeepers" the entire city of Tskhinvali was full of fighters from Russia and even some politicians in Russia were already there with a gun in their hands. They called themselves "volunteers"

  • @uastirji There's no point continuing this discussion, you're not willing to admit that Georgia has ever done anything wrong, and can only see the argument from one point of view.

  • Comment removed

  • RT is a famous Russian channel that was created to spread propaganda

  • @uastirji

And you think that CNN, BBC, FOX etc don't spread propaganda?

    Please....

  • @acorntechnique The networks are the camp followers of Capitol Hill.

  • I know this region of Georgia, and I know how Russia year after year trying to inflame the conflict there. arming of all, who do not obey the government of Georgia. In August 2008 a huge number of militants from the territory of Russia moved into Georgia and Georgia should respond to aggression

  • @uastirji Fine with me as long as we do not have to police the Baltic for Saakashvili's mistake. We have no reason to be there. If Georgia wants to do a dumb move let him do it but let's stay out of it. We have two wars going on. We cannot aford a theird. Wars cost money you know. Money the U.S. does not have unless the Federal Reserve inflates it. The problem is the U.S. neoconservatives have anti-Russian bias and the media will report propaganda. It is far more important to remain friends...

  • F*** YOU!!! and what can you say today??? now that everything gets clear and the traces of russian propaganda get washed away, the truth is being spread and russian side can no longer hide what really happened. NO thousands of killed people, NO genocide, NO starting of the war from georgian side. The TRUTH is slowly coming to all of you! some day you will be the ones asking for forgivness for all this lies you spread.

  • Everyone knows that the aggressor is Georgia, Saakashvili is guilty of death innocent civilians. Russia defending russian citizens in Osetia and peacekeepers, and russian troops arrived in the conflict zone after several hours.

  • Russia started the war. this video is Russian KGB propaganda

  • @uastirji I could say the same about Russia being the aggressor as NATO/Georgia propaganda. Russia has gotten rid of Marxism/Communism. We have no need to fight them. Georgia started this and therefore Georiga got a counterattack. We have no right to interfere unless you want war in that region from cradle to grave.

  • @uastirji

    You're wrong again!

A European tribunal composed of several EU nations concluded that the war was started by Georgia and that's DESPITE the fact that all those nations are part of NATO.

    End of story.

  • @acorntechnique Alright no reason to put him down. I agree though.

  • @americanromancatholi

If you're referring to the person with whom I was having an exchange, he's a she, and I wasn't putting her down, I was retorting at shots being fired at me.

If you're not referring to the person with whom I was having an exchange, I have no idea whom you're speaking of.

  • @acorntechnique Independent International Fact-Finding Mission

on the Conflict in Georgia September 2009

  • @acorntechnique Russian troops invaded the territory of Georgia to 08.08.08. it has proved an independent commission

  • @uastirji

Russian troops were defending the interests of south Ossetians who never wanted to be a part of Saakashvili's Georgia and who are also Russian citizens and Russian passport holders.

Saakashvili fired salvo after salvo of missiles on south Ossetia in an effort to demand their cooperation in recognising themselves as part of 'his' Georgia.

That's illegal under the terms of the Geneva Convention and against EU member regulations.

  • @uastirji

Nobody is questioning the Russian invasion. What was being questioned here is who started that war?

And the answer according to an EU hearing was that Georgia instigated military action against the south not justifiable under international law and that Russian presence was exaggerated by media sources.

The EU sponsored report was commissioned by the Council of the European Union, and written by Swiss diplomat Heidi Tagliavini, assisted by 30 European military and legal experts.

  • @uastirji

According to the report, Georgia had committed war crimes in its attack on South Ossetia.

Research by the international investigative organisation Human Rights Watch also points to indiscriminate use of force by the Georgian military, and the possible deliberate targeting of civilians. Indiscriminate use of force is a violation of the Geneva Conventions, and serious violations are considered war crimes.

Georgia's attempt to re-conquer the territory triggered a Russian invasion.

  • @acorntechnique South Ossetia is recognized worldwide as the Georgian territory. Putin and his army had no right to intrude there.

Russia armed the rebels in South Ossetia. Russia send to South Ossetia their trainers and intelligence personnel so that they trained them to kill Georgians

  • @uastirji if USA had the right to be in Kosovo and liberating it

why can't Russia help out georgia's cast away region of South Osetia when Georgia tries to bully them. I have familly in North and South Osethia and they all say want to be reunited. South Osetia would reather be a part of Russia, and be reunited with North Osetia whitch is a curemtly a part of Russia. Tell me why, Georgia must be treating South Osetia really bad. They must bully them.

  • @ilia2010100 Russia "liberate" all of Eastern Europe during the Second World War and now wants to "liberate" South Ossetia and Abkhazia from Georgia, also to "liberate" Transnistria from Moldova and Crimea from Ukraine. Russia is the remnant of an aggressive empire, that does not change its methods for achieving the goal.

  • @uastirji Russia "liberated" all of Eastern Europe while it was under the control of its most ruthless leader, a Georgian named Ioseb Jughashvili- aka Iosef Stalin. And I'm fairly sure its the people of South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Transnistria who want independence. I suppose you support Kosovo's independence though?

  • @alieu156 First, Stalin was half Ossetian. Dzhugaev it Ossetian name. and he considers himself Russian. Besides, Georgia has never been a tyrannical ruler, this is a purely Russian phenomenon. Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, and all the communist leaders, who were Russian by nationality

  • @alieu156 second, Stalin did not do anything good for Georgia. in Stalin's time was given autonomous status of South Ossetia. despite the fact that Most of the people there were Georgian and the region historically was always Georgian.

  • @alieu156 thirdly, some idiots in Russia think that they took revenge on the U.S. for Kosovo, depriving Georgia of its regions. they do not even know that Georgia will not recognize Kosovo's independence, and I personally also think that Kosovo is Serbia.

  • @uastirji Tyrannical rulers are not just a Russian phenomenon. Everyone in ex-Soviet states wants to blame Russia for everything bad that happens to their country. Georgia started this war by breaking a peace treaty which they had signed up to and by ethnically cleansing South Ossetian towns. If Russia was really is this "big bad" country they wouldn't need an excuse to attack Georgia-they'd just do it. And Georgia voluntarily joined the Soviet Union so they're just as responsible for any crimes

  • @alieu156 yes, all former members of the Soviet Union do not like Russia, because they remember well the evil empire, remains of which is Russia. Russia has changed in magnitude but not in essence. it is still the same totalitarian country like the Soviet Union.

  • @alieu156 Georgia opened fire on foreign troops on its territory. Any self-respecting country would have done the same thing.

  • @alieu156 And as for Georgia's accession to the Soviet Union. look for information about the Red Army's invasion of Georgia in 1921.

  • @uastirji Georgia opened fire on foreign troops on its territory? True, but those foreign troops were there as a joint peacekeeping force with the Georgian army in an agreement which Georgia signed. That deal was designed to stop more ethnic fighting like in the early 90s. And what about all the civilian casualties. Have you seen Tskhinvali? It reminds me of Grozny. Also you might want to look up the video of a Georgian soldier firing a machinegun into apartment buildings and laughing. Good guys

  • @alieu156 Also if the people in those regions don't want to be in Georgia, why should they be forced to be part of it? Sounds a lot like the Soviet Union to me. You're contradicting yourself by saying that Georgia has the right to independence from Russia because the people don't want to be part of Russia but the people of Abkhazia and South Ossetia don't have the right to independence if its what they want. Your arguments bear a striking resemblance to Russia's position on Chechnya.

  • @alieu156 independence of these regions achieved through ethnic cleansing of Georgians and people of other nationalities, who are opposed to separatists. from Abkhazia, they drove out 400 000 people who did not agree with the Russian puppets. it was 2 / 3 of the population of Abkhazia.

  • @alieu156 ohh, really? could you tell me why would a georgian solider ATTACK GEORGIAN PEOPLE?

There is a simple explanation for this event: Back in 08, i was in georgia when the war started, and the fact is that, when russian troops got tired of slaughtering georgian AND ossetian population, they started robbing georgian military camps, and thus they also took georgian uniforms (plus anything valuable they could find), its a fact, i was there to see it :)

  • @acorntechnique 30,000 Georgians became refugees and they can't return to their homes because of the Russians. because of Russian bombing there was killed 250 civilians in georgian town Gori.

  • @acorntechnique Russia lied that Georgians killed 2000 civilians. Human Rights Watch research has shown that it is complete lies

  • @uastirji

Im not referring to what the Russians may or may not have written or said. Im referring, as specifically stated below, to an EU sponsored report which was commissioned by the Council of the European Union.

  • @acorntechnique Russian troops invaded the sovereign territory of Georgia, until 08/08/2008 it said in the report of Tagliavini. Look down! I have already cited a quote from this place in the report

  • @acorntechnique Most of the world already knows that Georgia started that war. So if you think that you could still make all those people think otherwise then you are fucking ludacris, dilucional.

  • @ilia2010100 You've obviously not read the full thread.

    I stated exactly that.

    Georgia started the war.

This was confirmed by an EU sponsored report which was commissioned by the Council of the European Union under the leadership of a Swiss.

Before you start mouthing off, read threads.

    oh, and learn to spell...

  • @ilia2010100

and furthermore you're wrong. Most of the world don't already know that, because most of the world believe their main stream media which were slow to report these findings and in many cases didn't even bother.

The report to which I refer enjoyed a very short life on the BBC Euro news website surprisingly. But I did a page capture before the report was taken down.

To me it was always obvious that Georgia started this conflict and almost certainly with a green light go from the US

  • @acorntechnique my mad man I realize now that i was wrong, you didn't even say anything about Russian starting the war in the fist place

  • @acorntechnique Whoops. I apologize about that. I feel bad. Sorry :(

  • @acorntechnique

Additionally there seems to have been an influx of volunteers or mercenaries from

the territory of the Russian Federation to South Ossetia through the Roki tunnel and over

the Caucasus range in early August, as well as the presence of some Russian forces in

South Ossetia, other than the Russian JPKF battalion, prior to 14.30 hours on 8 August

    2008.

  • loool bla bla bla , what did russians wanted in Georgian land?

  • @cyberclubber

    EXACTLY!

Russia does not want ANYTHING from Georgia. Lands with conflicts? No, thank you.

Ressources? I dont think Georgia is that rich with ressources.

  • you dont know anything

  • Actually, even the EU said it. It's GEORGIA'S fault.

  • Englishman Carl Bechhofer: 'The free and independent Social-Democratic government of Georgia will ever remain in my memory as a classical example of an imperialistic minor nationality both in relation to its seizure of territory to within its own borders and in relation to the bureaucratic tyranny inside the state. Its chauvinism exceeds the highest limits' (In Denikin's Russia and the Caucasus, 1919-1920, London 1921).

  • MrBoratFan,

What do you think about Georgia's occupation/annexation of independent Abkhazia under the forces of General Mazniashvili?

Abkhazia is NOT Georgia - Abkhazia is Abkhazia. They have their OWN country, language, culture and history... Like as you said for Georgians...

If you want respect for yourself - you should show same respect for others.

  • Gigagamer74

    WTF are u talking ?

1921 ocupation georgia by red army u dont know nothing about it ?

    Georgians are georgians not russians

we have our traditions cultur history language !!!

  • NorthernFront, I never stated Russians were Mongols!! I most likely know more of Russian histroy than you do. Rus, Swedish 'Vikings' + local Slavs formed Kiev. Novgorod was Slavic. etc.

  • doganaktas, Sometimes Georgia was a vassal in the far past and sometimes not. Just as Novgorod and Russia were a vassal to the Mongols for some time, until Prince Dmitry Donskoy etc. rose up to through off the Mongol yoke.

  • doganaktas, Gerogia was indeed an independent nation for a long time.

  • if you consider being a vassla as independent, yea they were.

  • Buchanan is completely in the tank for the Saudi Regime, the Sunni elite in general, the general anti-Israel groups, the current Russian Putin Regime, and many such other international groups. American corporations with prominent Jewish heads or influence, of course, are not the only bodies with vast wealths to spread around to influence to max capacity. Buchanan is just another clever mercenary for such groups mentioned. Simultaneously PB is a dangerous agent against US interest abroad.

  • Georgia was independent of Russia for hundreds of years. However, I think Georgia made a mistake here.

  • Georgia did not made a mistake. Georgia waited, waited, waited, Russia gathered, gathered, gatherd, gahtered. Georgie reacted with a surprise attack, because peace was threatened by a more than a possible russian invasion and anyone can come now on Russian TV and claim. Saakasvhili started the war, he started the war, like a little bought crying asslicker. If he didn't reacted, Georgia would have been a Russian slave again

  • I don't understand, why the russian people are not lifting their asses and just burning down this rapehole of lying, criminality, terrorism cave of Kremlin. WHY !?, When will you move your asses !!?

  • Yup they should also nuke DC so that world will have ethernal peace once and for all.

  • Which world would have existed after nuking DC ????

  • I guess you are an Abkhaz or a Khazakian ????!!!!

  • EmperorofTerra, You are right about Putin and his tricks, but I still think Georgia made a mistake and should have known that Putin would have reacted as he did.

  • It was just Saakashvilis weak overview and the hope of an Allied Intervention against the RF. He clearly oerestimated the possible reaction of the US and Europe at this point. He really ecpected that the US would send troops to fight the russians on georgian ground, drive them back and eventually regaining both territories. Even the military operations itself could have been better prepared and succeded

  • Yes, Saakashvillis made a mistake, as many people do by expecting the USA and NATO etc. to immediately take up their cause. It would be a mistke for the USA and NATO to get directly involved, and most citizens in the USA and NATO would be against this. This is a good reason not to admit any nation into NATO, which nation may then immediately start a war expecting NATO to back them up according to the NATO allaince agreement.

  • Georgia was never independent, Either Azeris or Ottoman were ruling their asses. just after Arabs and Romans-Byzantines-Persians left.

Only relative independence during time was when they were colonised by Abkhaz.

  • That is the greatest bullshit, someone can claim

  • read your history, christian kartvelians were never independent after arabs came, just a puppet of khazars. as muslims were puppets of turks and azeris.

    Same today goes with USA.

Thanks for watching the muppet show.

  • Stick your dirty uneducated toung into your ass and stop cumming from yor mouth

  • your mother said same

    i should be careful then...

  • LoL, silly little kid .... ^^

  • There was NO country we coled Georgia. It was Russia state, with russian government. This government called himself Georgia. It is farce you see on TV .

  • Georgia's invasion of South Ossetia began the warfare. Saakashvili is an American "poodle" to an extent that would embarrass Tony Blair. (George Bush called) the Russian recognition of the independence of South Ossetia & Abkhazia an "irresponsible decision". Linguistically & historically-distinct South Ossetia & Abkhazia had been autonomous Russian/Soviet protectorates or regions from early 19th century to 1991, when the Georgian government abolished their autonomy.

    - William Blum, Sept 2008

  • russia started the war, russia denies it, russia attempted assisination, russia got owned becuase they could %^&* do it, abkazia and south ossetia is our land not yours fools.

  • blah blah blah....if you dont know what your talking about or you're just to brainwashed to look at the FACTS then just shut up ok?

stop wasting our time with your obnoxious and point less comments .... OK??? ok

  • georgia started war with russians as they wanted to conquer russia

help little fag coward russians they are afraid of georgians

  • In the USSR, the money from the tourism business from Abkhazia compelling budget of Georgia. Sakashvili wants Abkhazia because of money. tax authority. The power of tax - is not freedom. In exchange for the NATO base in South Ossetia.

Opinion of provocation - Religion failures .

  • @Rocketeer1001 Ha ha - CNN? are almost as bad as Fox News, BBC used to be reliable but they aren't anymore. EVen when you are presented with information from very reliable sources you STILL refuse to believe and you call me dumb - you're the dummy you fool.

  • @Struckgold @Struckgold LOL so you think al-Jazeera, RT is reliable? You dumb fuck what a puppet you are of the Eastern communist NWO.

  • Check out Real News on youtube for an explanation of what happened in georgia. Stop believing fox news u dumb fcuker.

  • Saakashvilli has close ties to the US and in particular John McCain, in the past the US authorities basically told him to 'calm down' due to his eratic actions because they thought he might destabilize the region.. Now think... Do you really believe that Saak (desperate to join NATO) wd attack Russian troops in S. Ossetia without asking for the green light from the US? as I said you are a dumb fucker because u work on belief rather than reason.

This is why Jews dislike Buchanan.

  • CHECK IT OUT. GEORGIAS OUR PAWN.

  • Bush and Nato have done everything possible to drive a wedge between the West and Russia. Georgia did launch the attack. I listened while it happened and the Western Press buried it. And now McCain and Obama are on the anti-Russia bandwagon. Russia merely defended themselves.

  • @HelplessAutomation in Russia now is a real anti-American propaganda. in USA is not anti-Russian propaganda. Russia itself is looking for enemies and find them. Putin's regime is necessary to have an enemy in order to keep down its own population

  • @uastirji Uh Russia's population is dying out because of the abortions and contraceptives they use over there. It is estimated that by 2050 Russia's population will have disappeared. I am sure there is some anti-Americanism after we moved NATO right in front of them and they saw it as a flash of hubris and arrogance.

  • @americanromancatholi

there is a problem in many countries, but this does not give the right to always look for enemies from outside and maintain an aggressive foreign policy. Putin has said many times, that the collapse of the Soviet Union was a disaster, and he is trying to recreate it.

  • @uastirji When you put your first phrase in perspective it decribes our own foreign policy.

  • No wonder Pat invited her into his house! She's fucking awesoooooooooooooome!

  • Pat Buchanon is totally right, What we have done is to reward an aggressor, a trouble make, a spoiled leader. We are in a sense encouraging dangerous behaviour.

THERE SHOULD BE A HEARING ON THIS ON US CONGRESS.

  • WHO SARTED:

Since the neo-cons can't beat him, they resort to ad hominem attaks calling him "racist" or "anti-semitic." It's all designed to distract you from his argument -- which ultimatley is always 100% correct and accurate. I have yet to hear him proven wrong.
