Im not against exposing a trick like this at all. The truth of it is that most people you show this trick to will not go looking it up on youtube. Those that do look it up are probably doing so because they saw someone perform it and now they want to learn the trick. Very few people will see this and half of the so called "revealed" videos on youtube are not actually revealing the trick.

I have to say that the more that people make videos revealing how different Illusions work, it forces all Magicians to take 1 of 2 paths:

1. Reply with a winy, bitter, angry, sometimes even down right insulting rude reply.

OR

2. The Magician, no matter what his/her experience is, can work on a way to either perform the Illusion...

I understand children Magicians sticking to the patter word for word, step by step, but I truly believe that a Magician should take that Illusion, learn the steps+the patter, & then Throw both DVD, Book, Pamphlet, etc. that the "steps+patter" were stated & then come up with their own patter & style.

& even if the other replies saying your way off base are correct, who cares! ;) U did it your way..

Lol I perform Calen's effect all the time and this is not how it is done at all. Interesting idea though, but not very practical lol. The true effect can be reset within 10 seconds and does not involve cutting an entire shirt in half basically lol. Check out my channel if you want to see what the effect really looks like.
