Bending and vibrating also known as "pinch harmonics" is his style. Just like Eddie Van Halen has tapping or Jimi Hendrix has the wah-wah or Peter Frampton does the Talk Box. It's part of his style. Without a unique style, guitarists would all sound kind of the same. I personally think Zakk's a hell of a lot better than like Jimmy Page and other guitarists. Then again, it's all opinion. Some can play fast, others can play with feeling. Doesn't make one better than the other.

Well I like to think about music critically. Like I see it all as an opinion thing. It's tough to define the best because music is a science and in science, there is no right or wrong. I definately think Zakk plays with alot of "repetition." Like he's "predictable." But that doesn't mean he's a good guitarist. Well yeah anybody can play any song with more feeling than the original. It's not too hard of a feat to accomplish.

well this solo is derived totally from a heavy blues influence as well mixed with other techniqes to make an amazingly well composed guitar solo. hendrix was an innovator but a little too bluesy all the time while zakk and many others respectively can take from blues and other kick ass combinations of styles and produce gold. I'll give hendrix his due but i get sick of hearing how amazing he is when theres these guys like Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Tommy emmanuelle
