my bosses 2003 silverado 1500 hd awd/2wd/4wd is a piece of crap. it has 2 gas leaks, brake problems, mechanical problems, wipers go on and of, 4ways on and off and the tow and haul goes on and off. it works hard. the next truck he is going to get  im a landscaper. and a few people i know that own toyotas hove old ones with well over 200,000+++ miles on them there body's are crap but they will last forever.

That front bumper is mounted so low, you can`t even go off the road with a 4x4 version. That sucks. That front approach angle must be horrible.

I actually disliked the 2003 thru 2006 look of the front ends on the chevy's. I hated them when they came out in 03, but they grew on me a little over time. I still like the gmc's better in that time though. Now, I think I like the chevy front end better. These look like good trucks, but will they beat out the new Tundra??

Hope the Silverado SS kicks some butt when it comes out. With this new styling I can only imagine how good it will look. Dodge has 22 inch factory rim on the SRT10 will we over do them with 23 inch factory wheels on the SS version? I don't plan on buying a truck but have always been a fan of Chevy trucks. Looks like Chevy took notes when the Nissan TITAN came out. Can't figure out how Nissan's 305hp still can out run Chevys 345hp Vortec and the Dodges Hemi Ram 345hp trucks....makes me wonder. Oh yeah...by the way, the truck looks like a Chevy built on a Titan body and frame....everything looks identical where everything is placed. Adaptable bed fasteners, extended doors, even all the air vents are in the same spot just like the Titan. Weird.

You also have to look at it this the Nissan Titan is freaken pig on gas, plus I have seen Chevy outrun Titans countless times, The votech 4.8 285hp the 5.3 295, the 6.0 345, the 6.0 highoutput 367hp, the only one that has trouble against the titan in stock form is the 4.8 add an aftermarket air intake she will blow the doors of the titan
