  • how do you get the top glass down without spilling... woops

  • MINDFUCK

  • Its only beacause water is denser than wine...

  • THIS IS FUCKING WITCHCRAFT!!!!

  • Jesus must've had wine hidden in tubes up his sleeves before he did his experiement in front of gullible individuals.

  • i think what is happing is the alcohol in the wine is lighter then the water making it rise.

  • @stuckurface

You mean less dense and yes :)

  • zzzz

  • O_O thats so cool..

  • igh seriously like it took forever for him to get the cup and the paper in the right posititon

  • This is not a trick. water is more dense than wine so it will naturally 'sink' while the wine floats on top.

  • @agient19 because all those other tricks you see are actually magic...

  • @agient19 Thank you, Captain Obvious.

  • @agient19 haha dude....this guy isn't claiming this is some kind of sorcery.

Every magic trick has some element of science, engineering or mathematics behind it.

  • awe...i thought he was gonna pull it and save me 2 minutes...

  • is you jezus?

  • Its by osmosis or w/e its called, the sustance with the most concentration(wine) goes by using a a kind of filter to the area with less concentration (water) and like 2 things cant be in the same place they change places! I think...

  • wow, thanks for not explaining and no sound otherwise I would watch more of your videos...

  • If you make the water warmer than the wine, the water will stay on top of the wine right?

After some time the wine will be on top of the water.

    I hope I'm right.

  • the wine is warmer than the water. Its the same principle as "Hot air rises"

  • @RJHamm2 I thought it was because the wine is like an oil sort of so the oil would float and all that, don't judge me I'm only a ten year old girl. By the way I didn't get no help on figuring this out.

  • @EvilNinjaGirl4Ever wine has alcohol, which has less density than water. in other words, water is heavier and it goes down.

  • @RJHamm2 No, it's the weight of the wine vs the weight of the water. Same as oil, it "floats" on the water.

  • @Swupperdupper oil and water is an emulsion? whut do you mean "floats" btw?

  • @danedaworld By "floats" I mean that the two substances have different mass. The alcohol in the wine is lighter than water, so the wine itself is lighter than the water in the top glass since it has some percentage of alcohol in it. It's seeking top get on top of the water: it "floats". It's pretty much the same as if there was air in the lower glass and water on top, only the wine and water doesn't make bubbles which would be the case with air and water. I hope this is understandable :D

  • @RJHamm2 It has nothing to do with temperature its all about liquid density
