b) The term "Afghan" means Pashtun - as I'm sure you're already aware - Rumi wrote in Persian.

Now assuming that Iran is not as strong as it used to be Turks are claiming Mulana, and Arabs are claiming. Funny is that in one internation conference, Arabs claimed that Razi had been Arab. The word Razi means Born in Tehran. So most of these claims is rooted in lack of informtion.

What the hell do you mean Iranian is a "state of mind?" I hate when people talk such non-sense. It has no truth whatsoever. Iranian is a race. That is a fact. Our state of mind arises from the culture which arose from that race. Culture is the method which people view and make sense of the world. You could not be Iranian and live according to the culture; that does not make you Iranian. It means you have identity issues. On the other hand, you can be Iranian and not have culture.
