Seems like most of the posters live on the east side??? I heard all the horror stories before I moved a yr ago and cant believe how enjoyable and family oriented the city really is. The westside is a very nice place to raise your family. Marie Kerr park..The ampitheater... Stay on the westside and the place is great.

Yep, it's a craphole because there's very high crime. You know what else people seem to forget about though? The mother fucking WIND. OMFG the wind blows 60mph all day every day, and you get sand blasted because there's no vegetation to hold down the soil. It is miserable, and I do NOT miss the place.
