I don't believe they were allowed to run sequential boxes until the 2008 season. the transmission in this car would have been a BMW Motorsport dog box

to me it seems like its a Dog box because when he is down shifting, the clutch is not fully engaging and he is just relieving stress from the dogs. If he did this in a normal synchro box you would be able to hear the grinding that would happen

nice heel toe tecnique , but why is there clutch if its the sequential gear box ? or is it manual ?

It obviously isnt SMG if there is a clutch. Its a normal Manual gearbox. the idea of an smg is to eliminate the clutch pedal

Sequentials use a clutch, but only for downshifts. Its pretty much like a bigger motorcycle gearbox.

Yeah I know, that, I was just explaining a sequential. He's just really good at shifting apparently. Almost sounds like a sequential.
