@kellysgreeneyesx3 The box says to use 10 volume, but since you're only rinsing with it, and not actually mixing it with the product, I can't see that it would hurt too much if you used 30. I would personally wait until you can get the 10 volume unless you absolutely can't for some reason, since that's what the instructions say, and usually they don't put stuff like that in it for no reason :)
I have this on my hair now, hoping it goes well. I opened the window as soon as smelled this stuff WOW, this is one of the worst smelling products I've ever came across! The milky looking bottle smells to me like an old moldy basement. The clear bottle..well the smell is so bad..I have no words haha!
@0ctoberpus it is a color corrector. It removes permanent haircolour, but it is not a bleach or a hair stripper of any kind. It will not remove demi or semi-permanent haircolour, ONLY permanent haircolour, and it does so without bleaching or stripping of any kind. :D
@0ctoberpus No, it is actually pretty gentle as far as colour removers go. It does stink a lot, but it works really well and doesn't do any noticable damage.
@barebonesbeauty It says you need it on the instructions inside the box. I would err on the side of caution and go with the manufacturer's instructions before I went on the advice of a store employee, but that's just me :)
so i colored my hair black but its demi . will this work on it? i dont reall want to buy bleach and my hair is short so i dont really want to ruin it and have to cut it any shorter. and can we use any other volume developer or does it have to be 10?
@KandyFace1 Sorry for the late reply! You will NOT be able to use this product on your hair. It only works on PERMANENT hair dye, not Semi-Permanent or Demi haircolours. I would suggest going to Sally Beauty or another Beauty Supply store and asking the staff there if they have any demi haircolour removers. Good Luck :)
I colored my hair auburn and it turn black so I colored it again a lighter color and it turned black with purple in it. Went and bought this and it removed all of the color perfectly. So much so that I have decided not to color my hair as suggested. I am using a very thick ion hair conditioner and my hair is super smooth and healthier feeling. I applied the conditioner for 15 minutes instead of 5 minutes. But this worked GREAT on black hair lol
@goodburer123 No, you rinse with the developer after you're done the process and you're rinsing your hair. It tells you what to do on the instructions. Make sure you read them well and follow them! :)
Hi, i have a big question, I dyed my hair with black, but I want to remove that color, do you think this product is gonna work? please, help me I dont want to bleach it
@LadySakuraii Yes, it will work. :) It won't bleach your hair, so no worries. You may have to buy two boxes and use it twice depending on your hair. Remember that this product will only work on PERMANENT hair colour, and you will need to buy a bottle of developer to rinse with after you are done using the colour corrector. Any Sally Beauty employee should be able to help you out. :) If in doubt, have them open the box so you can read the instructions before you buy it. :) Good Luck!
@pinkxel Thnks! I'm gonna do that, I live in Mexico, fortunatelly here we have Sallys so I'm gonna go and buy them, you really helped me, my parents are always complaning about my hair and I really didnt like the results so this is gonna be the best way to get rid of this color, thnks :D
@aquagirl2014 Yes, you have to get the developer. The Color Corrector is NOT a bleach, it will not bleach your hair, it will only remove previous hair colour.
@Idontkissntell123 I don't think so... Unless you plan on putting it on your eyebrows, which you really shouldn't do anyway. Just make sure none drips on it, and you should be fine :)
@kelseythedino999 if they're metal, it will discolour them. You'll have to use an appropriate cleaner on them afterwards to get rid of the discolour. My ring was silver, so I used silver polish afterwards, and it got rid of the discolouration. :)
@pinkxel there plastic, and there pink and blue. so i guess they would be alright.
will this discolor my roots? ive been trying to figure out, because i have like 1 inch roots showing of my natural color, which is a brownish blonde color, and my hair is dyed black.
@PinkChibiRam I believe this particular product is for Permanent hair only. You would have to go to Sally Beauty or wherever beauty supplies are sold and ask that question. :)
Smells just like eggs:/ yuck

how can you're wedding ring not be an expensive piece of jewelery??? :S
CamilocaXx 2 weeks ago
@CamilocaXx lol! Because I tend to lose jewelry easily - it takes a lot of stress off of me if I don't have expensive stuff to lose!

@natashamariedavi1989 Unfortunately they don't usually tell you that :( Either they don't know, or they don't think of it at the time.
