  • Smells just like eggs:/ yuck

  • Is it okay if I used 30 volume?

  • @kellysgreeneyesx3 The box says to use 10 volume, but since you're only rinsing with it, and not actually mixing it with the product, I can't see that it would hurt too much if you used 30. I would personally wait until you can get the 10 volume unless you absolutely can't for some reason, since that's what the instructions say, and usually they don't put stuff like that in it for no reason :)

  • how can you're wedding ring not be an expensive piece of jewelery??? :S

  • @CamilocaXx lol! Because I tend to lose jewelry easily - it takes a lot of stress off of me if I don't have expensive stuff to lose!

  • oh damn i bought the box. i wish the salleys rep would have told me to buy the bottle too.

  • @natashamariedavi1989 Unfortunately they don't usually tell you that :( Either they don't know, or they don't think of it at the time.

  • I have this on my hair now, hoping it goes well. I opened the window as soon as smelled this stuff WOW, this is one of the worst smelling products I've ever came across! The milky looking bottle smells to me like an old moldy basement. The clear bottle..well the smell is so bad..I have no words haha!

  • @xAngieTheStrangex Yeah, it's quite stinky stuff! Hopefully it worked well for you!

  • it smells like kiwi and poop aahahahaha.

  • @makeup4ever9813 haha yes, it does have quite the 'unique' scent xD

  • Wait, whoaa. Is this not a hair stripper? Not meaning to sound dumb.

  • @0ctoberpus it is a color corrector. It removes permanent haircolour, but it is not a bleach or a hair stripper of any kind. It will not remove demi or semi-permanent haircolour, ONLY permanent haircolour, and it does so without bleaching or stripping of any kind. :D

  • @pinkxel so does it damage your hair?

  • @0ctoberpus No, it is actually pretty gentle as far as colour removers go. It does stink a lot, but it works really well and doesn't do any noticable damage.

  • Comment removed

  • @pinkxel So how long should I leave it in? My hair's a dark brown. Almost black.

  • @0ctoberpus Just follow the instructions inside the package :)

  • Why do you need the developer? The ladies at Sally's said I didn't.

  • @barebonesbeauty It says you need it on the instructions inside the box. I would err on the side of caution and go with the manufacturer's instructions before I went on the advice of a store employee, but that's just me :)

  • so i colored my hair black but its demi . will this work on it? i dont reall want to buy bleach and my hair is short so i dont really want to ruin it and have to cut it any shorter. and can we use any other volume developer or does it have to be 10?

  • @KandyFace1 Sorry for the late reply! You will NOT be able to use this product on your hair. It only works on PERMANENT hair dye, not Semi-Permanent or Demi haircolours. I would suggest going to Sally Beauty or another Beauty Supply store and asking the staff there if they have any demi haircolour removers. Good Luck :)

  • I colored my hair auburn and it turn black so I colored it again a lighter color and it turned black with purple in it. Went and bought this and it removed all of the color perfectly. So much so that I have decided not to color my hair as suggested. I am using a very thick ion hair conditioner and my hair is super smooth and healthier feeling. I applied the conditioner for 15 minutes instead of 5 minutes. But this worked GREAT on black hair lol

  • so u mix in the developer with the 2 ion bottles? or after or what?

  • @goodburer123 No, you rinse with the developer after you're done the process and you're rinsing your hair. It tells you what to do on the instructions. Make sure you read them well and follow them! :)

  • @pinkxel ok thank u i have a.d.d n if u hadent told me i would have mixed it all together. thank u so much

  • thanks

  • Hi, i have a big question, I dyed my hair with black, but I want to remove that color, do you think this product is gonna work? please, help me I dont want to bleach it

  • @LadySakuraii Yes, it will work. :) It won't bleach your hair, so no worries. You may have to buy two boxes and use it twice depending on your hair. Remember that this product will only work on PERMANENT hair colour, and you will need to buy a bottle of developer to rinse with after you are done using the colour corrector. Any Sally Beauty employee should be able to help you out. :) If in doubt, have them open the box so you can read the instructions before you buy it. :) Good Luck!

  • @pinkxel Thnks! I'm gonna do that, I live in Mexico, fortunatelly here we have Sallys so I'm gonna go and buy them, you really helped me, my parents are always complaning about my hair and I really didnt like the results so this is gonna be the best way to get rid of this color, thnks :D

  • @LadySakuraii No problem! Good luck!

  • do u have to get a developer because i don't want to bleach my hair but i want to remove the black out of it

  • @aquagirl2014 Yes, you have to get the developer. The Color Corrector is NOT a bleach, it will not bleach your hair, it will only remove previous hair colour.

  • i just got my eyebrow peirced would it harm that at all?

  • @Idontkissntell123 I don't think so... Unless you plan on putting it on your eyebrows, which you really shouldn't do anyway. Just make sure none drips on it, and you should be fine :)

  • What about gauges? I wear pinchers, would it harm them?

  • @kelseythedino999 if they're metal, it will discolour them. You'll have to use an appropriate cleaner on them afterwards to get rid of the discolour. My ring was silver, so I used silver polish afterwards, and it got rid of the discolouration. :)

  • @pinkxel there plastic, and there pink and blue. so i guess they would be alright.

will this discolor my roots? ive been trying to figure out, because i have like 1 inch roots showing of my natural color, which is a brownish blonde color, and my hair is dyed black.

  • @kelseythedino999 It shouldn't change your natural haircolour - it should only remove haircolour that you've put on top of your natural haircolour :D

  • Ah! Thank you, I wouldn't of know to get the 10% developer! I hope this works!!!

  • i luv this product. i used it to remove my dyed black hair.

  • Thanks for the hints, esp to get the 10% developer!

I have blue and aqua hair...by mistake...as of a few hours ago and have been researching all eve online to find a fix! Will try it tomorrow!

  • @molz1122 eep! here's hoping it works! :D You should get two packages, just in case one isn't enough... Unless making two trips isn't a problem. lol.

Oh, and don't forget to open a window! xD it's stinky stuff!

  • do you think it will remove a brown demi color from color treated bright blonde hair?

  • @PinkChibiRam I believe this particular product is for Permanent hair only. You would have to go to Sally Beauty or wherever beauty supplies are sold and ask that question. :)
