first you need to port that box the im sure you have them running at 8 ohms with a 4 ohm amp so you need to parallel wire the speakers the bridge it so then they will run @ 4 and it will have the max out put for the speakers i know because i had the same system and the i had to get a bigger amp because its not close to enough

(lol!) funny shit! your grandmother right? shes cool as shit! but yo, im buggin right now cuz i almost had the SAME EXACT system down 2 the head unit(kdc-x492, i got it for $140) i could have bought the "party pak" just subs & amp, online 4 like $100-125 but i ended up gettin the MTX Terminator package, 2 enclosed 12"s & an amp - $265. do you think it was a good deal?

seriously!? i didnt end up gettin it. i havent heard the best things about'em so im kinda scketchy on the whole deal. what do you know about the mtx "terminator 12s" if anything, have you heard them personally?

well after doing some further researching, i found out the MTX arnt the best either, but it depends i guess. some kids overpowered them and they blew *obvious* but same goes for theese subs.

So if i really would pick, the KEnwoods but the MTX looks better and if treated respectfully, best bang for the buck.

DUDE!! shit is crazy! i found a site(seem pretty legit) 2 12'' kicker CVR's(1600w) w/ kicker ported box $250 & a kenwood kac-7402(1000w) $120. so 2 kicker cvr 12''s & 1000w kenwood amp w/ wiring kit - $397 delivered!! seems 2 good 2b true right

MTX speakers are not the best spend a little more money and get kenwoods and a rockford amp I've had problems with all my MTX stuff
