You could try the intro as a -4(5)* smoothly into -4(5) back down and back up. Might sound good doing it that way. I don't think ozzy used hand effects much. (by the way that's notation for a four draw bend with a bit of 5 (dirty four) to a straight four draw with a bit of five)

The tune could be a C harmonica to . anyhows at 4.30 you use some different decoding of the tune right ? If you sue a C harmonica it gets into doing 5' 5 5' 5 5' 5 4' 4+ 3"' ( 4 draw is bend slightly for the right sounding ,3 draw is deeply bent and going down while fading out =).

BTW the 4 blow is a simplification of a tone going down to that tone in the end ,right ?

Check out the Hohner Piedmont Blues set. Although the outside is plastic, the inside is metal and they sound really good. I got Harps in the keys of C, D, E, F, G, A and Bb with a kick ass case for $30.00!!!

I love them, just had to loosen the reeds a little and they sound just like my traditional metal and wood harmonica.

Okay I've only been playing harp for a few days, I am past single notes, straight harp and all that. I know what in the key of is somewhat, and I know what postions are on guitar. What are they on harmonica? I know that on guitar, if my first finger is on the first fret, middle finger on second, ring on third, pinky on fourth..that that is first position. So I'm assuming that 2nd position is on the second hole? Can you explain this a bit for me?

Hi man, 2nd position means play your harmonica on the key of the second hole draw ( for example on a G harp, play on second position is on the key of D)

you can play a harmonica in all the keys, for example you got a G harp so first position is play the harp in same key of the harp (G), second position is on the key of D, and third position is on the key of A, this mean that every scale you play is an A scale, well Hope you got it!

tocar esta cancion con una harmonica en C es mucho mas dificil que tocarla con una en G, le recomiendo conseguir una harmonica en G, sobre el idioma, bueno eso esta un poco dificil, necesitaria mas gente que hable español interesada!

start on 3 blow and then a tricky note 3 draw with a full bend and go back!

I recommend you play this song in third position on a G harp.
