  • I already regret working so much to give my sons the lifestyle they were accustomed to. My youngest son sat at my feet crying and begging me to stay home and bake him cookies they way I used to, but without childsupport and no help from the govt I didn't see any other way. Now, my youngest son does not speak to me and I am not even allowed to see my own granddaughter when their father who I divorced to save them from being hurt physically is reaping the rewards of my raising them all alone.

  • Great comments. Human life is temporary. Even a centinarian lives a short life relatively speaking. Being too critical solves nothing. It's important to cut yourself a litlle slack and not be too hard on yourself for "not doing everything" you wanted to do. Just remember to wisely use whatever time you have left to correct your mistakes.

  • I lived almost all my dreams,I only work when i need money I taveled the world ,and I have had children,,,I served in the Military, and I am very happy to play guitar allday;LOL,smoke alot of weed, and just do what I have to do to survive, and most importantly Love every one as I love myself,Peace, and God Bless you

  • This one could potentially head the list: I wish I had done everything possible to stop the New World Order, for the sake of all life on the planet.

  • Thanks

  • most of my regrets are insignificant, like I wish I ate more bacon and cheesecake. I wish I had more sex. I wish I had more loving relationships in my life.

  • I have a lot of regrets, you just have to learn to live with them and move on.

  • Love it Linda, at least I've got a few of those done already :)

  • I love you! I just did a video on this article! I hope you can accept it as a video response! TeamWork yes!! : )

  • Judging by all the recent wars it would seem that there are many people who have no perception of what a life is until the moment that their own one slips away.

  • Thank u 4 posting this, it has opened my eyes and helped me to breathe easier. Thank U!

  • "happiness is a choice" what a joke

  • I know it doesnt have anything to do with the subjectt but I had to say it: You look marvelous !

  • Thank you for publishing how I live my life (I do all of these)...because, folks, we can GO at any time..I mean, ANY TIME...no one knows anything, you know??....Stay safe, be wise...

  • No3 made me sad, this applies to both women and men now as they are both forced to work because the cost of living has become so expensive.

  • You know, i really like this video, it is so true.. I think when i'm dying, one of my regrets will be from this list. Right now i pick number 1

  • -cont- have. i spent the best years of our nations economy blowing my money because i was supposed to work for some one else and have "a regular job" now doing what i want will be 10x as hard, i keep 10x less pay, and "regular jobs" are 10x harder to find.... weird huh?

  • i regret #1 already, my whole childhood i listen to every one ask all the other kids what they wanted to be and every one was like great thats dandy, when they asked me and i replied "i want to make guns and knives" they'd laugh and say but people already make those...don't you want to be a police man. hell no...i wanted to make knives, swords, and other dangerous things, after 10 years of listening to them i'm finally trying what i want to do and its extremely hard with the limited income we

  • My Grandmother is in hospice care right now i wish she was able to have been able to lived all her dreams...

  • ps. Nice post!

  • Whoa!! I guess i'll have just NO REGRETS when I die [=

  • Thank you very much for sharing! This is so true! Life is so short, and I've been told that at the end, it seems especially short, so it's good to learn these priorities in life and try to do this while we still can. I'm passing this along.

  • OK, I like that one. You are getting better at it. By being more wise and less liberal, you are becomming more interesting.

  • Thank you! =)

  • Living Legends - Nothing Less ft. Slug (Atmosphere)

    [Slug]

    The first step was birth

Now forever cursed to analyze his self-worth

    The second step was belief

He had to make that move before he even grew teeth

    The third step, respect awareness

He could trip over the next step if he's careless

  • That next step, number four, was love

Can't touch it without stepping the other three above

As he froze for a moment

    Ignoring the remaining ones

    He was approaching, focus stolen

Looking down at his hands to see what he was holding

    Nothing, empty

No choice but to keep going

  • The fifth step felt like a misstep

It was a re-evaluation of the first four

The anxiety, fear of what it hurts for

Caught in somewhere between the earths core

    And the first floor

When he finally made it to step six

He could no longer see it for what it is

All of his views and family and life were askew

Number six had been twisted by the previous two

  • The last step, the seventh

Was the only thing left that kept him outside of heaven

One last breath and everything could be pleasant

Life through death, man's final lesson

  • omgomgomg i get to see this angelic face again... brightened up my day.

  • As one who is dying (anaplastic brain tumor), I have thought about some of these things. You can't really know what you should/should not have done, I have thought perhaps I should have worked less, but if I did, then what? I would have had less money to do the things I wanted. I was never married, but if I had been, there might have been a bitter divorce, don't know. One thing I do know- I now value my past experiences, such as travel, more than material things, can't take anything with me.

  • What do you want written on your tombstone ?

  • if you live in the present moment you won't have any regrets:)

  • @Andreas748

    Well said!

  • Beautiful, thank you. <3 Going to pass this along to others.

  • Thank you!

  • You're hot

  • This life is only blink of eye to whats to come ! There much much more !

  • My Hit list is getting so long that Im afraid I may have more than 5 regrets. Laugh now Cry later

  • Thanks Linda.

  • Don't die asking "what if?" Its better to have tried and maybe have failed then to not know how something would have worked out.

  • when i saw the title of this video, it took me some time before i saw the word 'the' in the title, i kept reading it as "The 5 Biggest Regrets of Dying". Therefore seeing the word "the' changed the meaning entirely. um , yeah i would think so, and being almost 45 i can see i regret pretty much the first 45 yrs of my life. don't exactly know how to bring about that change however... easier said then done, altho would love the schematics on this idea....

  • wow that was fantastic! thankyou shiney cake... wow

  • beautiful.

  • I don't have these regrets. I learned early on that in order to live a life worth living I couldn't worry about things that were in the past, but learn from them and make the future better than the past.

  • @ChristopherJManess well aren't you the fuckin man? and you tell us all this for what exact reason? if this is true i envy you on one hand, on the other, if you were so brilliant, you would have had the sensitivity to not rub it in the face of millions of others who are not quite so brilliant, and live in a way as to please many others to the detriment of themselves, to the point that they later regret it. So nice to live without considering others feelings, you are truly superior.

  • @Vgirlification If I offended you, I apologize. I did not realize my words would be taken so offensive.

  • @ChristopherJManess What happens when the future can't be better than the past? Uh, oh.

  • Comment removed

  • @ChristopherJManess I don't know why people are flagging your comments, it is a legite point of view.

The way I see it, it is all about values. If you don't value something, you won't miss it. If you do, you will. These values are always being re-evaluated, but people get trapped. Paradoxes start developing.

  • @Polarcupcheck Excellent point! It's called programming. We're all raised with certain values. In America it is often money that is most valued. $250,000 won't bring back the father who died in war, for instance. Those who are flagging my comment must know it to be true, or they wouldn't reject such harsh reality. I learned that bad things happen to people, period. I learned to not only accept it, but find good in it. Some lessons are not explained in plain language. Thank you for understanding!

  • awesome. thanks for posting this.

  • #1 basically encompasses the rest...just saying

  • I am a Hospice nurse and these regrets are so very sad but true. I hear these regrets quite frequently from my patients.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • @gramig0 That's a very hard job you do - thanks for sharing your story.

  • i like the way you think :-)

  • All very good thoughts. Especially number 1 and number 5. Thanks for sharing and may God richly bless you today!

  • @scutter4christ you too my friend:)

  • I am not afraid to die and have no regrets. I did the best I could and studied logic, psychology, and philosophy to make sure I really did do the best I could. When I no longer need this heat engine, 30% efficient to carry my brain around I don't care what happens to it.

  • Very beautiful. As I read it to my daughter who is 15, it's great advice for the old and the young. Linda...I love your passion for sharing.

  • @ScholarConsciousness How great you shared it with your daughter! Why wait until your old to find out the real joys of life...:)

  • This is just too unbelievable- Everywhere I turn I see the universal consciousness thinking of these things. It's got to be universal! It's all over this planet right now!

  • If you listen to my song.... Soulmate...its says just that..Live...Love Consciously....so I so agree.....hey that rhymes:)...

  • Well I agree with this, however in the end we all go to dust and non existance. So the only after effects post mortem is your place in history. Everybody remembers Julius Caeser, Christ, Hitler, Bush, Obama. Will I be in the history books or the common memory? No but I don't really care because I will be dead.

This life is just a theme park-here today-gone tomorrow.

  • "I wish I didn't work so hard." Give me a break. I don't regret working hard. How the hell are you going to get married and raise a family w/o working hard and making the money for rent, bills, food, and entertainment? I don't know any women who will marry a man with a low income. If they exist, let me know.

  • great points and are so true keep smiling morning

  • Awesome, thank you!

  • I found that life and time are extremely precious. I feel myself getting more impatient when things and people waste life and time, especially mine. Those 5 things are amplified by this realization. Every good day goes into the treasure of memories.

  • Hello gorgeous Lady..perfect background 4 tha vid!!I think..that everybody should ask themself, if U wanna be a slave or leader or companion of tha system..the answer isn't a big easy!!. take a breath, and think about system's-just 4 example, take the dna as system of evolution.darwin and mendel described it very well, but there are so much factors, who can change the habit of the chromosomes..My opinion is, that everything is chaotic, and therefor, everybody should think about humans masterplan

  • @MitchellZWorld Thank you!

  • Thank you for sharing :)

  • Well said Morning M, Very true words. :))

  • Ironically, regrets of the dying are words to live by.. Stay safe and peace be with you. ;{=

  • very well said. For some people it's only when they become sick that they lose their ego and discover what's really important.

  • thank you for this video

  • Thanks for this. It's very high-frequency. I knew that I missed you..glad you're back.

  • @powergirl901 ahhhh you - thank you:)

  • Thanks for sharing, dear! If only more people would keep these thoughts in their minds throughout their daily lives.

  • Hope i dont say; " i wish i didn´t by so much silver"....

  • @xeppo haha I hear ya there!

  • glad to see your doing your videos..keep up the good work

  • Compelling and moving. Thanks for posting your thoughts.

  • I never realized it till now. I am in a state of flux. I have recently decided to shed my old negative, unhealthy (S.A.D.) lifestyle, including my old negative "friends" and start anew. Using "Telemention" or Power of Attraction, I have embarked on a new life. A life I'm living for me. Thankfully, I've always had my health. I recently shed the chains of organized religion with all it's constraining dogma and set out on a journey to explore the world our creator has given us. Thank you.

  • Not much to complain about here. I feel very fortunate for being able to have done more than most. I could probably write a book....Haha! Stay well hun!

  • I love your voice, the type of voice it can send me to sleep quickly it's awesome : )

  • I'm not afraid of dying, I just don't want to be there when it happens. Everybody dies, but few really live..

  • AMen

  • @cdltpx AwoMen! dont you just love em?

  • Life is about learning, it never stops and when you die it is certainly not the end for you. Consciousness evolves in order to know itself completely. Live life and love and learn in joy. The soul is indestructible your journeys will be full of adventure but never fear death and dont take life too seriously. ( my humble opinion )

  • live life with no regrets.

    if there is no death.

than who cares what you did in your life.

hopefully we can all "die" at the same time and go to a higher dimension

  • Dear Linda, thank you for such touching information. It will help me, and many others i'm sure, set ourselves a little freer.

No matter how some may take you ... stay in your high vibration always. That's You!

  • Great words of wisdom.

    Thank you!

  • Good to see you back as of late Linda =D And good words for reflection too.

    Peace.

  • @pr0t0typeB0Y Hope you and your lovely wife are well:)

  • everything is ok.....the world is not ending ...........names and faces change but people remain the same......

  • It basically states that happiness is the ultimate goal which only leads to narcissism and selfish whim.

  • @WyldOrbit ...NO..Happibness is NOT the goal...the LULZ is the goal...always...the LULZ is the pointing out of whats wrong, and dealing with it by reaction, one way or another, but staying centred and letting the wrongdoer, often the narcisist, grow in hate, even encouraging it till they implode... the happiness u can carry thru into the darkest times and give to one another, & when the laughing is done the LULZ leads to reflection, and self-betterment, the LULZ is ALL.

  • @WyldOrbit Your right.

  • I totally disagree. It does not mention anything about the world as a whole. It is a self centered article which makes it seem like propaganda. Trying to trick people into not feeling guilty about doing bad things, rather focusing on other regrets.

  • 5 things that wont be on my list.

5 wish I'd helped more animals (no more space)

4 wish I'd seen more of the world (seen loads already)

3 wish I'd know love (surrounded by it)

2 wish I'd smoked less weed.

1 wish I'd punched less assholes.

    XD

  • ..If I still have any strength left...on the day I think I'm gonna die, I'm gonna get the boss of the nursing-home (u know he's gonna be an asshole)...and get him in close to hear my croaky old voice, & I'll punch him too (one more for the road sort of thing)..I'll probably shatter my arthritic old fist on his face and not hurt him much more than shock, but it'll still count...

    XD

  • @homerbear46 If I ever wind up in a nursing home, I want to room with you. We'll take turns beating his ass.

  • @Polarcupcheck THAT'd TOTALLY werk, we could time it to used our diminished strength together, and strangle him with our hospital tubes and shit...LULZ he'd shit his pants with two OAPs lunging ant him like zombies from either side.

  • in other words there about to be a whole lot of dying all over.

  • missing your vids. xo

  • mmmm-

  • You'd better not be dying! That would be unacceptable!

  • so whats the story with ELENIN??!

  • Thanks for sharing this !

  • Very nice, Linda. Many of us relate to at least some of the list.

Many ppl realize these things as they are happening but life gets in the way. We all have the 'shudda duns' or 'shudda not have duns'.

  • thanks for the insight.. be well Linda..

  • being happy when you are not well becomes less of a conscious choice. putting on a brave smile is such hypocrisy when you are in pain 24-7, and its hard for others to understand what is happening to a "hooked" trout when you and the others swim freely. I just keep praying for those moments when it can come genuinely...in between the fake-it-till-you-make-it moments. Cheers

  • thanks good looking!

  • I dont have good health and have already been reviewing my life. I am working on all the possibilities, mostly related to family. thanks Linda

  • SUP SEXY!

  • @mstrephoenix1 but not the glasses they cover her face

  • @tankmdg even with glasses on her face :p

  • I wish I had a cofee with morningmayan...heyyy w8 a sec I am not dying:))

  • Very interesting! I believe many people wouldn't have these regrets if they would develop self discipline and high self-esteem/a sense of worthyness.

  • After the 11 11 11 first wave i couldnt find your channel for a while i thought you were one of the first wavers to leave but there you are

    Love and light
