Works to 100% thx man! I had the problem, when i tryied to record some things to fl over the hypersonic plugin via an Midi Keyboard... The keys stay down that mean if i release the key on the keyboard they where pushed down already in the plugin! NOW u fixed my problem.. Thank you so much! Sry 4 my bad english... Im a f***ing German :D
@Beatssample I replicated your problem and I found that the FL Wrapper by default allows for multi-threaded processing which does not function properly with hypersonic since its only a single-threaded VST. The problem manifests as the virtual piano keys being stuck down
Go to FLWrapper drop down menu, uncheck "allow multithreaded processing" and restart FLstudio.
Note: I'm referring to the drop down menu and not the options box where you set bridging. The menu is to the left of the options box
hey when i select bridge mode it wants me to set the content location for hypersonic even though i already set it a while ago. then after i close fl studio and try to close all the windows asking me to set the content location, flbridge32 says its not working or something. idk how to put it into bridge mode so i can use hypersonic and save it, help please
@TheCBreddMusic Hey man, I understand you difficulty but this is the reason I put the annotations within the video as the answer is already there. However just to reiterate the video I made that solves this is located here:
/watch?v=pavJwMyLKkM
Sorry If I didn't make it clear enough as I just looked at the annotation and realized it may not be clear enough.
@iszazial ight cool thanks, but i just tried that and it still didnt work. hypersonic opens without a problem, then i try to bridge it then it freaks out asking for a content location, even after i set it in the registry. so im lost now, any help would be great.
@TheCBreddMusic ok cool I appreciate the feedback as i will have to improve that video. words are to much to explain in this blurb so I am going to make a video response to help you trouble shoot the problem.
If anyone has additional problems that I have not solved then please post them here an I will create more videos as an all-in-one FAQ troubleshooting channel for flstudio crashing repairs.
I have updated the Video Info to include some solutions for when hypersonic goes nuts upon setting the content location. Please look there first and try before posting. I am creating file that will solve the problem but until then try those solutions in the Video Info
it works just fine with making new projects but wat about the old projects? is there a fix for that? or is it possible to replace the whole wrapper file with one that can load HS without needing to bridge? please advise thx
@Gangxtalicious It will be impossible to run Hypersonic without bridge mode because its 32bit. The problem working against you here is that we cant make a default preset for fruity wrapper to automatically load bridge more. This means old projects automaticlly open without bridging causing failure. So how can we get around this? You need to open your old FLP files in an older version that works (probably a 32bit OS as well) and apply this fix to those files and save them.
@iszazial One you have applied the fix and save then copy them over to your 64bit system and load them and it should be fine.
There is actually a few things working against you making it all very confusing but understanding that the FLP file stores all of the data gearing towards settings, automation, steps sequences, playlist, means you can modify that data on a working system and prep it for your windows 7 64 os
@iszazial Finally if you were using the Dongle version of Hypersonic on your older working setup then you must save your HS configuration per project and replace the dongle version on the old working setup with the "NO dongle version". The reason why is because the new FLP files in 10 save CODE differently and will not understand 2 different versions for compatibility when running through bridge mode. You must make the change before hand.
okay so after some messing around with hypersonic to see if i could save my previous flp files i noticed that sometimes if i open the file enough it will load H2 with the patches i used- if i have 2 or more instances only the first would load so what i did was let the first instance load, copy the patches to the fixed version of H2 and save the combi... then reopen the flp and press escape so that the first instance wouldn't load [takes perfect timing] then it would load the 2nd instance, repeat
@daimprovable that was a great observation! So ultimately what you saying is in projects that are corrupt already you just continuously opened and closed them until one of the hypersonic files loaded properly enough that you could apply the fix and save then rinse and repeat? When I get some time I will apply this to some of my older projects from FL7 and make a video. Also i wonder about hypersonic version; dongle driver; no dongle driver, or both. Ill throw credit your way when its up.
okay this fixed hypersonic for new projects but all my old projects still come up with the state of hypersonic that was corrupt... meaning that it does not load the HS fixed version when i open an old song... any ideas on what I should do about that?? because that is what i am really trying to fix
Thx you sooooo muchh !!!! It's works now ;) But still I have a Big question, what about all the beats that i made before to apply your trick ?
I mean when I want to open an old beat the error is still there. Even if hypersonic open correctly all my seeting are like the default setting you know what I mean ??? For exemple : i have a project with 1 brass and 1 string but as I saved it before to apply your trick, hypersonic apply the default instrument :( Do you have a solution to fix this ?
@amakou This is a good question that I forgot to address. its obvious this works for new projects and projects that have already been started but what about old projects with hypersonic already saved from previous versions. The next post by daimprovable seems to be a good shot at repairing these old flp files. I think a good idea as will would be to open them within your old FL studio and convert them there to the new hypersonic while updating the flwrapper to support bridging to convert them
This video is crazy good, holy shit I wish I found it a year ago! This helps SOOOO much, jesus christ thanks bro so much! any help my f studio keeps crashing when i use native instruments massive and this does not work when i put it into bridge mode it goes blank and i cannot use it and thin it crashes thanks
@33BMX33 personally i don't have massive however, its a known issue that bridge mode does not work for all VST instruments. I would like to point out however not to get down though as I'm absolutely confident there is a way to fix it. You should try a 3rd party bridging program instead of the native fruity wrapper bridge. I have tried and tested one called Jbridge and it works well but I personally didn't like it because it rebuild the dll file to become propitiatory to the jbridge program
@UeliconFernandes Sorry for the delay in posting. Anyways this is a registry conflict and happens because you have already set your hypersonic instrument directory. To repair this you need to reinstall hypersonic but DO NOT click on the "Set HS2 Content Location" file in the hypersonic instrument directory. Instead open up HS in flstudio and choose the path there. Now this time it should go berserk like before.
@iszazial i have the same issue as @UeliconFernandes and I went as far as uninstalling it, restarting it, and installing it again without clicking on the "Set HS2 Content Location" file. I opened it up in FL and chose the path there and its still going berserk
Jasus Fu** my good ,sh**! You are the king men BIG THANKS MEN A BIG BIG THANKS BECAUSE I LOVE THE HYPERSONIC and NOW THANKS TO YOU e gone a make song's with hypersonic. Simply and clean han (: Really like you men ,THANKS AGAIN THANKS! Works perfectly
@krumpergiewl aside from troubleshooting that problem, you can just delete the hypersonic.dll file from the vst folder then just re-install over top of whats there. I've done that in the past and it works fine.
hey good vid! i got one prob, i want to record a song, in song-mode, enable overdub is turned off, but still my song is a loop. very strange. can you help me please?
@Damce hey buddy, so record overdub off only applies when the record button is on. What you are referring to is something they changed in FL9 or 10. You mean the loop point marker which is default at the start of the song that you used to be able to drag it to the end to indicate the end of the song instead of looping. This is still there you just need to set it manually insert it using Shift+T in song mode then dragging it to some arbitrary ending place to discontinue the loop.
fuck, when i bridge it spams my comp with the browsing for location then i have to open task manager to get rid of it after that "IL32Bridged is not responding". Help ?
@krumpergiewl uninstall hypersonic then reinstall. Do not click on the set hypersonic location button in the sample folder this time and proceed with my videos instructions. it goes crazy because you are not supposed to set the hypersonic location untill you open it for the first time.
Please help, I'm getting the spazzing problem but I still get it even if I reinstalled it multiple times and tried installing it to a different location.
@i18YearsOldBitch uninstall hypersonic then reinstall. Do not click on the set hypersonic location button in the sample folder this time and proceed with my videos instructions. it goes crazy because you are not supposed to set the hypersonic location untill you open it for the first time.
@mizterfresh911 This occurs because you used the "Set HS2 Content Location.exe". Do not use this file in win x64! You will no have to uninstall hyper sonic completely and re-install it, or just install it to a different location. Additionally you do not have to re-install the sound pack so just skip that part when asked.
Next time you load hypersonic do not set the location until it has loaded in bridged mode. When setting the sample location you will use the navigation box provided at load.
@mizterfresh911 sorry for the delay. If memory serves me right I had this problem around 4-5 years ago with fl7 or 8. It was when they introduced the multi-threading function and the sound would get mangled during playback.
What solved this for me was disabling the multi-threading function on the vst channels. You can do this by opening each vst then at the top left clicking the left pull down option menu and unchecking the threading value
Get back to me if it works and Ill make a video for all
Man first thank your for comenting on my video where I could see how you are fixing this problem. I carefully followed your instructions, the Hypersonic seems to open, but THEN... working with FL Studio and Hypersonic2 sucks... maybe it is taking too mucH RAM (MEMORY USAGE no less than 345) so that if I touch anything, like...moving notes or draging e.x th emixer or vst, anything on the screen, FL Studio will interrupt, the sound glitches and everything gets stuck for like 3 seconds or more !!!
@BESI1980 Hey sorry to hear about the horrible lag your experiencing. I can help you out but could you tell me if this occurs only when using vsts, or more exclusively hypersonic, or even only when using bridged mode?
You right, flstudio only uses a small amount of memory but that is only memory that is allocated to it by windows, so its sounds extremely likely that your flstudio is lagging because most of the computer resources are currently in use by other junk running in the back ground
1.)The best way to go about first of all is to press the start menu key + R on your key. The windows key I speak of is located between CTRL and ALT. so press (Windows Key + R) which brings up the windows run box.
2.)Now type in the run box MSCONFIG and press OK
3.)The Microsoft configuration window now opens and you shall now click the STARTUP tab and the top of that window
4.) This takes you to a window where below are a bunch of check boxes indicating all the junk that starts with your computer when it turn on using up computer resources allowing windows to neglect FL Studio. At the bottom of the window you will see a button that you should press named DISABLE ALL.
5.) after everything is unchecked press OK and restart your computer.
You don't understand how i've been looking for a fix hypersonic 2 for the past 2 months almost everyday! I couldn't find crap cause everybody elses video DIDNT help. Thanks alot for helpin me out & taking time out to make this video cause honestly no one else would waste there time making a video when there problem is fixed! Thanks alot bro!
@BillRockStudios yeah no problem. I own a computer business of which I've spent about 25 split hours or so of my free time researching this problem with no luck. A Friend of mine who owns a large studio gave me an idea when I saw he runs all his VST's on completely separate computers controlled through toslink cable. this was my "house" moment when I started exploring the idea of runing the VST's outside of FLstudio which confirmed the actual problem which was the "Fruity Wrapper generator"
Finally I can save my damn presets! Thanks a lot.
