  • Sea Wolf and E.L.O are the only two bands that can pull off a chello

  • Incredibly cheesy video. If art is partially an exercise in avoiding clichés, this one falls flat on its nose.

  • it definitely fits in the situation with chuck and blair .. that's so awesome!

    ♥ it . & gossip girl ;) xoxo.

  • Wow beautiful song I heard it on gossip girl season 1 when chuck and Blair made out

  • My friend burnt me a cd and this song is on there slowed down by 50%...honestly it is more majestic and more of a groove

  • im sad to say i heard this from zombieland. but ive got to say im glad i did! i love these guys now!

  • This is so cute.

  • 34 people who disliked this song are sheep

  • yeah because they didn't conform to our way of thinking, they're sheep (?)

  • @MrMagneticPelican duh...its a wolf and sheep reference, wow how dumb can you actually be? go read a book and get off of youtube.

  • @J8neSez

    DERRRR I LYK LADI GAGA

    ahaha

  • @thatdarnjake go listen to your talentless shit somewhere at least these guys can play their instruments and sing

  • @sublimerulz1

so when was it that people stopped learning what sarcasm is?

i realize it was bad and unfunny but also very obvious.

  • 34 people need to get obliterated off of the face of the earth....

  • wow when the cello comes in at 2:47, i think that is the most beautiful sound that has ever entered my ears

  • this is just so epic! really beatufil! T.T ^^

  • I MUST have the lead singers shirt!! Where can I get it??! Its so cool, I love its style!

  • Heard this song in a car commercial ages ago and fell in love with it, I was all "HELL YEAH!" in the theatre when I heard it in Zombieland. Awesome song, glad more people are falling in love with it like I did.

  • It bothers me that I cant remember where I first heard this song.

I know it wasnt Gossip Girl.

I think it was a commercial for car.

It was in a commercial right?

  • Just saw Zombieland for the third time and it KICKED ASS!! (again) searched for the music. This band touched my good string (translated/converted in dutch) haha

  • Amazing song!!!! greetings from Poland

  • Dont forget Metallica and The Raconteurs. :P

  • whats the last son?

  • was that the singer from Silversun Pickups on guitar?

  • @CarlosAVal3 I think there are two members from Silversun Pickups in the video: the singer and the guy with the keyboards. I haven't found any infos about this clip but I'm pretty sure that they are the SP members.

  • @CarlosAVal3 yes sir

  • So, apparently this song has been in a few movies?

I don't recall. But i've loved this band for years now, and I just hope Pre-Teen Twilight fans don't start swooning over them.

  • Yus finally found this song! ive heard it in tons of movies and tv programs... just listening to it for the 5th time in a row =)

  • bands fucking awesome.

  • I started listening to Sea Wolf about 3 years ago. Before Zombieland, Gossip Girls, and Twilight. I can easily say they are my favorite band. I even got to see them preform live at a small place in Grand Rapids. I'm just glad I found them, because if it wasn't for this band, I would have been introduced to half the music I've been listening to in the past 3 years. Thank you for changing my perspective on great music, Sea Wolf.

  • bad. Rogue Wave does this style much better.

  • i love it, especialy i heard it first time in 'gossip girl'

  • Hey it's Brian!!!!!! My silversun lova! :-D

  • Great Song. First heard it on Gossip Girl.

  • I'm addicted to this song...first time I heard it was a over a year ago on a commercial for a Chevy Malibu....and I haven't been able to get it outta my head since

  • One of the most criminally overlooked and underrated groups in music.

  • Goes great with zombieland

  • holy shit thats brian aubert (lead singer/guitar) of silversun pickups. And joe lester is playing bass (keyboard of silversun)

  • is that brian aubert of silversun playing guitar/

  • This song is amazing. I'm glad I found this band.

  • Dangerbird is a great indie record label. These guys, Silversun Pickups, and probably my favourite band La Rocca (which split up, apparently).

  • Well I'm glad I watched zombieland theres no way I would have come across this otherwise!

  • Silversun Pickups!!

  • @democide03 silversun pickups are a carbon copy of smashing pumpkins, and even though these guys are a one hit wonder sound nothing like either band names

  • People need money, they probably have another shitload now because of it.

  • this song rocks

  • I Love this Song! <3

  • This song reminds me of Chuck and Blair. *-*

Thank you for uploading ! :D

  • what is this actually about?? as in, what does the song means with you're a wolf???

i love it, though =] and i love wolves, so this is just awesome!!

  • This is like my favorite song ever,,, heard it on "Remember The Daze" also my favorite movie ever((:

  • these guys are alright. gud song even tho this isnt really my kind of music

  • epic.

  • Guess who has an autographed vinyl of Sea Wolf.... meeeeeeee. Well, Alex. I win.

  • estos tipos son buenos! lastima que los encontre solo por crepusculo!

  • one of my friends recommended this song to me and i like it very much

  • badassery

  • good

  • brian aubert!

  • ban of horses is horrific

  • as much as i hate to admit it, I found these guys through the New Moon soundtrack. Sure, you could call it "selling out", but that movie put a bunch of great bands on the map (specifically, that's how i found Band of Skulls...now my favorite band.)

  • exactly. it's good for them, makes them get more money and whatnot... :)

  • Me too...I was singing in the theater...I wonder if people were staring

  • Good song.

  • I LOVE GOSSIP GIRL

  • this is an awesome song! i discovered this when i was four, i still listen to it every day and if i make a trip to the woods i listen it to on my i-pod. I JUST F*CKING LOVE IT!!!!!!

  • @marlieswolf96

    haha so you're seven now?

  • @SteamIngenius does that 96 makes you think that?? :)

  • keyboard player and lead singer from silversun pickups are in there!

  • @guyfromirmo lol wow. that crazy

    why is joe playing bass???

  • @lyndonrules well i think they are signed to dangerbird. maybe they both just joined up for a collabrotive effort for fun? can't think of any other correlation. other than the fact they both rock pretty hard.

  • found out about Seawolf when they were top 4 on sspu's myspace page. big plus seeing Brian playing the opening notes too

  • I actually heard this on a commercial first, I believe. I'm pretty sure it was for a car or something.

  • I found them a few weeks ago and watched Zombieland last night... It wasn't a bad song to be put in there. That movie was brill.

  • sikkkkkkk

  • lovely.

    great album!

  • dude thats gay i found it because of zombieland

  • The electric guitar player looks exactly like the lead singer from Silversun Pickups, but I can't find anything on Wiki confirming this.

  • @RedTestamentReborn SSPU and Sea Wolf are both on Dangerbird Records. I believe that is indeed Mr. Aubert although he might just be guesting on this song or even just in the video.

  • I'm almost 100% sure its him. The guy behind him playing the guitar looks exactly like Joe Lester the keyboardist from the Silversun Pickups, plus both bands are signed to the same lable, so it makes sense that its him. But i could be wrong :)

  • @sspuFORlife I thought that too!

  • @sonaliis98 me too XP

  • Comment removed

  • love this song=)in zombieland which part of the movie does this song come out in?

  • The part he is playing on his computer.

  • Great beginning to the song. Vocals are so so. All in all the beat is better then the vocals.

  • Well, it's gonna appear in Rock Band soon through the Rock Band Network, so that's a plus right?

  • Dammit. Why'd they have to put this in Zombieland?

  • watcha mean?

  • @CassieMeder I was wondering the exact same thing. But when I did hear it in Zombieland I got to sing along and realize the creator of this movie has great taste in music. :) They also played Band of Horses.

  • @pricelessposition Hell yes they did, I love hearing the music that I was into a couple years ago become mainstream.

  • @pricelessposition Yeah,they played "No one's gonna love you"!

  • @pricelessposition the fact that this song uploaded in 2007 and only has 350,00 views shows that youtubers have bad taste in music.

  • @PoetryRocksLogic or the band hasn't had a lot of publicity???

  • @pricelessposition they played my fav black keys song too! gaahh why did they have to make everything all popular!

  • @pricelessposition I just like how indie can remain happily obscure and still be great music. Most mainstream music is not very great. But I'm not saying that once indie becomes popular it starts to sound bad. You just start to hear it over and over and over and over again. And it kind of ruins the beauty of its obscurity. Seawolf is my love, but when indie is put into movies... a part of it is killed. Sometimes you see the movie rather than what you felt when you first listened to it.

  • @CassieMeder dang! i hate to agree with you but you are so right bout your last sentence. i have to say though that I have discovered so many great artists because they were in soundtracks.

  • @CassieMeder you're fuckin stupid. there are mad good songs in t.v. shows and movies, but they would be the only time i would hear them in public. i don't see how it "ruins the beauty of indie music." personally, i get a big dick when indie songs are in shows or movies because it shows that even though they are indie, they are still liked around the country. and because i always have a big dick but thats another story nigga

  • HEY i would've never found this band out if it wasn't for zombieland!

  • @CassieMeder cause it's a good enough song to be in a crappy zombie movie just makes it look better

  • @CassieMeder wow i know man, hate it when everytime someones like "hey what you listening to? oh you got that from (movie)"

    no, just

    NOOOOOOO

  • @CassieMeder

Why are you upset about this being in Zombieland?

  • @CassieMeder Who cares?

  • @Aardvarked88 I care. and cassie cares and eleven other people care. Keep your thoughtless comments to yourself.

  • @resisthexcept Care to elaborate on why you care that this was included in a movie soundtrack? Are you one of those intolerable people who can't stand it when artists they like get a tiny bit of mainstream exposure?

  • @Aardvarked88 are you one of those intolerable people that like to start shit on the internet because youre bored and feel safe behind that computer?

  • @resisthexcept Asking a simple question is starting shit? You were the person who decided to reply to my comment aimed at somebody else, Einstein. There is no valid reason for complaining about a song being put on a soundtrack unless it was used without permission or used in a propaganda film. Clearly you are one of those people who would rather see the artists they like struggle to pay their rent so you can hang on to some alternative imagine you've crafted for yourself.

  • @CassieMeder Because it's a great song. Don't be silly. Like Pricelessposition said. Why wouldn't they put good music in a good movie? I know if I made a movie I would put all my favorite music in there. And stop being so emo about your music. Music is meant to be heard. It's not yours.

  • @CassieMeder lol, it's not your music.

when I first heard the twilight soundtracks, I was raging because of sea wolf and grizzly band being in there. but then I realized it was there because the director likes them, so kudos to him. but twilight is fucking retarted and i hate everything about it.(except the movie soundtracks.)

  • @EpicDERP finially !!! THANKYOU xxxxxxxxxxxx i officially love you, ha.

  • @CassieMeder why do u care it helps support the artist.

  • @CassieMeder Zombieland is a great movie. Why do you sound so angry?

  • @CassieMeder why did you hear it on a car commercial during the olympics?

  • nice song i know it from zombieland

  • Just realised this is on Zombieland :) Great song....

  • The lyrics "I'm runnin' on the northeast street, cut to the ocean before I run too low" really make me smile for some reason. It's how I feel a lot of the time when I'm in school, surrounded by a bunch of hormonal teens.

    /end weird comment

    Anyway, this song is amazing. (;

  • @cantcopyastar

and you're not a hormonal teen?

  • I first heard this on Remember The Daze. And now I listen to it everyday! I love it.

  • this video makes me think of the book " a great and terrible beauty" by libba bray.... if it was ever made into a movie, this song would definitely have to be in it.

  • Zombieland XD 5*

  • A lot of the songs that I like (including this one) have been on TV shows. I heard this one on Numb3rs.

  • effin love numb3rs <3

  • i love you Sea Wolf!!!!!!

  • Baroque pop? what a joke.

let's just call this indie and be done with it.

  • Nice song! ; )

  • why the fuck does the genre matter ?

the amount of different music genre today is totally ridiculous

  • alternative/boroque pop

  • can anyone tell me what genre is this music!!?? I love it!!!

  • One can argue this is of the Indie genre. That'd probably be right, but indie covers a terrible amount of styles that can fringe on the styles of many other genres. That said, by seeking and exploring indie bands, you can eventually come across great works like this.

    Young Galaxy comes to mind.

Happy trekking. Don't come back. Such is the idea.

  • indie rock

  • i'd say Pop Rock

  • Really, really hot. Reminds me of the Byrds or early REM. A band on the way up. Watch out!!

  • i love this band very much!!!

  • i listen to this song repeatedly

  • Well its better than some crybaby with Robert Smith hair, thats for sure. I kind of like it.

  • this is prolly the most original sound since dcfc

  • original sound that is still good to listen to of course :). imo radiohead is the most original. cheers

  • lol... that's a joke....

  • they have a song on the new moon soundtrack... prepare for the fanbase to be raided by squealing teenage girls

  • FML...
