I've had this album since the week it came out and it's still my fav album of all times. I've listened to dozens of power metal bands, but none even remotely have this sound. It's power metal, but it's also rough, atmospheric and a little dark. I much prefer this album over some of their faster or 'happier' albums. Anyone know any other bands that have the Helloween sound, like they sounded on this album?

The Dark Ride is by far their best album, and the fact that Weikath did not liked its dark feeling and, we have to admit it, that this album had BALLS, proves it to the maximum.Andi has to kick Weikath out, call back Roland and Uli and compose such magnificent anthems.
