I have a question. Do you find sports bred BCs hard to settle down at home? Can she calm down if she's not doing a training session? I'm looking for a flyball/disc dog and I'm considering Hob Nob farms but I've been hearing from some people that sports bred BCs like to pace and have way too much unsettlable energy. What is your opinion?
@Boboua well, hob nob are different then most border collies. Razzle is very calm unless it's playtime then she will be hyper but then soon as it is over she will either go to sleep or just explore the backyard. . I do agree that show bred BC can be unsettable and pace. But the HB BC aren't really like a typical BC. I can give you insurance, if you decide to get a HB you will never regret it and it will probably end being the perfect dog for you!
@FriesianFantasyLPJ Thanks for the reply. That's what I've been hearing as well. I have a very energetic and drivey pup but I absolutely need the pup to be able to settle down. If you don't mind me asking, did you get her as a companion BC or for dog sports?
@Boboua I got Razzle more as a companion, even though I would like to do some of the agility stuff. I can't really show cause we live so much in the middle of no where.
Cute! She looks wonderful! What a little spitfire. I'm glad you have a You Tube account so her HN family can watch her grow. I have HN Leda out of Posh X Bezel. =D Leda s 1/2 sister to Cachet.
Love your pup!
