The hand controls are trimmers - they change the angle of attack of the wing on either side or both (changing the air speed). I also have hand brake toggles for quick/fine control, which I use near the ground or when doing sharp turns.
Do you really want to feel adrenaline? Fly with a paraglider over alps, using thermal ald breezes as engine, only the sound of nature and thin lines...
