@jinfuuu they're some great ukes. I love mine because it has the pickup in it and I don't have to worry as much about the sound guy's skills when I do the inside gigs.
(P.S. sorry it's taken me so long to respond. don't know how I let things stack up like this!)
Sounds great. I'm thinking a collaboration video in front of the fremont troll sometime? Keep at it and it's great to see you posting these great videos again!
@mctrmt thanks! it's pretty easy to get good sounds out of a good ukulele. the Mainland is an amazing example of today's crop of reasonably-prices ukes. where were they when I started, hm?
@BaronK69 Thank you, Baron. When someone points out the 'stache I feel constrained to mention that you shouldn't grow one like it unless you're wanting to take on a new hobby. MAN, they are time-consuming! But I do like the look and, wtf, I was vain to start with and age seems to be making that worse. :-)
@tspae Thanks, Thadd! (And re-Happy Birthday!) All I really did was EQ a bit (viciously cut below 100Hz and above 12kHz) and normalize it up to about -3. Them Zoom H2s are da very bomb!
toe tapping! excellent work!

thanks a lot, @jingmo & @textech00!
the ukulele is a heck of a deal. beautiful big volume and tone, nice little price. check 'em out at ohana-music (with the dot and the com).

great performance and sharp looking uke, HH!
(u also make me miss the days i had a handlebar moustache...)
sanfordandsong 1 year ago
@sanfordandsong I'm thinking you had better things to do than to tend to the handlebar grooming. I mean, growing a bonsai is less trouble.
(and thanks for the kind words.)

HH - You sound great. The uke too!

@phreddcatt thanks, old horse! pip pip and all that.

@howlinhobbit Thanks Hobbit. I would enjoy that very much. I still am sorry I didn't get to see you when I was in your neck of the woods last July.

Great song, great performance. Nice two camera shots.

@DouglasFrink one of the better things I did with my uncle's bequest was buy two matching cameras (and an extra tripod!).

@thejumpingflea I'd love to but I think we can find a Seattle icon that's quieter (and warmer!).

Dylan grew the used car salesman's moustache and it should be the aim of every man to do the same at least once in their life time.

@weegingayin I prefer to think of it as an Hercule Poirot or perhaps a smallish Salvador Dali mustache. :-)

@UkesterBrown Thanks, Ukester!
I got a big dose of Vitamin T. (In other words, I think it's probably the new teeth you're noticing.)
