that vape is sick, but wayyyy wayyyy wayyyy overpriced. its the most simple concept/mechanism/little instrument, theres no way the company spends more than like 40 bucks to make it.
@bullshitlikebutter. -- you ever see that video they posted where they destroyed a couple of deices? I can't seem to find it anymore but it showed what was inside of everything. I would pay the extra money for a unit that doesn't break after 5 uses and that doesn't taste like plastic. I've had an omicron and it doesn't even compare to the revolution.
@PsychoVape yea i saw one where they destroyed an omnicron which 1st of all is a completely different thing more geared towards oils and/or nicotine products which is not at all what we're interested in. also, the omni had a tone of complicated shit inside of it. And even then I agree, im probably gonna buy a thermo soon cause theyre the only ones that make this, im just pissed im gonna be paying so much for a mini flashlight- that litterally is exactly what it is. stingy stingy.
@idowhitegirl -- still working. Cleaning is a must....but so is with every other device. A good soak in alcohol and it hits like new. Just gotta make sure everything is screwed together correctly.
Thanks for posting man. I actually stumbled this last night and was fascinated, but couldn't really find any detailed working on it. Looking back on it now, how does it hold up compared to the first few times of using it?
@glassonglassexpress -- short answer no. Long answer, you ever try a volcano vaporizer? The vapor condenses and produces an actual cloud. When you first hit the thermovape a few times during the warm up, the initial few drags produce no discernable vapor but is full of flavor from the terpenoids.
@PsychoVape i mean thas cool and all but i never cough when i hit mine and that dude hacked a lung up. i mean yeah the vapor condenses but like i have been over people's houses and they have the temp way up and their trash is black not dark brown so like where is the line between condensed vape and smoke?
@bigpapashoosh -- it really depends on the product. Some produce no noticable smell, other herbs smell wicked on the exhale. The revolution doesnt produce too much smell...just the smell of wax and supermelts.
Two months after have posted this video, would you say it is still worth the full $250? I'm a poor college student and I spend enough money on weed as it is, but I want to invest in something for my health and for more efficient weed smoking. $250 is a lot of money though... damn. I'm torn.
@howe92 -- I've only had good experiences with my T1, thus far. Besides a bi-monthly cleaning, its been pretty hassle free. I liked it so much I even got one for my girlfriend, in white.
@ermaigawd -- Not only is it silent, but it is also invisible in the dark. We all know those weird gadgets that have lights shining bright as hell, letting everyone who knows that you are vaporizing.
Nice review. I first got an iolite (got to say it's working but... anyway..) Then my mflb came in. I love them. But this one seems to be a really efficient vape. And I tough I had everything I need. Damn you america.
Been using the ThermoVape for about a week now and I gotta admit, it has been a fun ride. It's been working great and I've got the toggle action perfected to an art. Everywhere I go, people stop me to ask where I got it. Thinking about getting the Thermovape adapter kit to use with concentrates. I will post my review if I get it.
Piece of advice, DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY WHILE HOT!!!
@AcidMarsh -- I made a mistake and wrote the wrong info but it has been updated. Retail price is set at $250 but ThermoVape is willing to provide free shipping (up to $20) if you enter Promo Code:Jerry. THANK YOU, THERMOVAPE!!
What a nice review. Wish more people were so polite. Still have questions: How much air resistance is there to the draw between this and the Arizer Solo? How many seconds/minutes of heat do you get? Is the temperature adjustable? How is the taste compared to other vapes (Solo, MFLB, VaporGenie)
@maridejun --- The draw on the Thermovape really depends on the type of herb you put in to it and how coarse it is broken up. There is basically no air resistance; a slow hard draw seems to work best. It is a true convection vape, as in the air is drawn into these holes near the atomizer, through the heating element, and then passed through the herb. The device heats continuously and it does not have an adjustable temp.....per se.
@maridejun --- I've found that if you toggle the switch up and down, you can actually modulate how hot the vape gets. I am getting around 15-20 good solid hits off of one set of batteries, depending on the type of herb. The car charger and extra sets of batteries really comes in handy. Taste-wise....there is no comparison. I've used the MFLB and the vapor genie (havent tried the arizer yet) and there is definitely a difference.
@maridejun --- The MFLB is simple and effective but not as durable, fast heating, or efficient. My MFLB only lasted 5-10 hits until the battery dies and it broke within two months. The genie I used had this weird taste that was reminiscent of plastic. The size was huge compared to the ThermoVape. The Thermovape is definitely the smallest, portable, and most durable vaporizer I've seen...dropped once down some steps (accidentally) and still works!!
