WOW I just noticed that your daughter looks identical to my cousins children. Both me and my cousin are have the maiden name King! And great job I am creating my first wig today!
I thank you for poasting this video.. you did a great job in the way that you explained it. I do have a question. How did you get your natural hair to grow and look so health?
@msladybug1121 Great video...Creation of Beauty would like to introduce you to our new prouduct which is great for weave wrap , sew ins,and braides its a hair growth formula!!!For The Sisters corp.
i really like this video and everything but i am new to this so after your done do i just put it on and go or do i have to sew it in my head that is the part i can't find a clear answer on when i searched online
Loved your video. Excellent tutorial. I do however feel your natural hair is gorgeous and the styles chosen for your wigs do not suite your face. I know the purpose is to be able to switch styles but I'm sure there are others that are more fitting. Otherwise, great technique! And my mom is Trini and I LOVE all things Trini lol so yay for that!
very good job!!!! i like this method, i stop wearing my full lace because of the glue and starting making my own glueless wigs using the fish net wig caps, i just glue the tracks on it and put it on my head and go. I love full lace wigs but i don't like the glue.
wow i love how great they look and are so affordable,i needed a better method i think i will be trying yours for sure.many of my friends ask me to make their costume wigs, but it can be so expensive to make them other ways!so glad you put this up!
maybe u should get into photography like the hubby... behind the seens seems to be best, unless you wear your real hair ofcourse. U HAVE BEAUTIFUL HAIR SO WEAR IT.
the little girl is adorable.... the other wigs were a complete mess... hubby had to be laughing on the inside...especially at his mother-in-law....lmao ----->your natural hair looks alot better than any weave on this video.
its really fast moving, i could not really read the words, but seeing this will allow me to ensure that my picture tut. are not so fast, but understanding and readable.
thx u did a great job by showing the steps, which i'm also going to try :-) but i think ur own long, straight, coloured hair looks better on u than the curly wig
Fantastic! I just happened upon your vid and was very impressed by your presentation. I really appreciate the great information. I'm a visual and audio learner so your demo was just what I needed to understand this process. I subscribed to your channel today.
this was a really great vid..i 've tried to do this on my own with out as much success..thanks for teaching...but i do have a question...your kinky weave is very forgiving with any mistakes..will this work just as well for less curly styles..
This video has solved a HUGE problem I'd been having with my Cosplay concepts. It's given me for confidence in making my own wigs using the method you've demonstrated here XD
Thank you sooo much for this video!! I have been trying to do more hairstyles at home and I think your just awesome for sharing this with us!! Very detailed and fun video!!
wow it was yesterday i was wondering how to make a wig instead of gluing. I will definatelt try this. I loved the tutotial, instead of combing out the curls i would have just used my fingers to separate them, i think that would reduce frizz.
Not only did you make a beautiful product (s) your entire tutorial was incredible! I don't know if I will make a cap anytime soon, but OMG you are such a wonderful teacher! Just a wonderful & inspiration production! You should be very proud of yourself!!!
Omgeee thnx soo much!!! I cant wait until my mom gets me a wig cap for my doll im gettin 4 x-mas so i can change her wig {i dont like the one she comes with )'= } this video helped me ALOT i gots 2 go 2 da beauty supply store 2marrow :D! Thank u really u helped me alot!
Im under my husbands account here, but, I was searching for ways and methods on how to make your own wigs. Thank you for this advice. I wear them, love them, Ive done extensions etc, and for a white girl, I love it all, even getting cornrows and having it sewn in. :) Wigs are my addiction, but are so costly. So, Im going to make my own, and thanks to your help and advice, Im on the road to the right track. :) Thank you once again!!
Im a student, and money for getting my weave done is sooo tight :|
Now I wil try this definately! But can you pleaseee do a video on how to make a sew in cap weave, with a part ?? so that I can have my natural hair out? That would so great if u could
thanks for the vid anyway! :) p.s your daughter is soo cute x
AAAAHHHHAAAAA(in my just discovering something new voice) never knew to cut out the extra weave. Always wondered how to do one on a manequin head and it turn out good especially if i was sewing it in or gluing it on
your video has helped me so much I was doing the same thing but i could never figure out how to keep the wig in place when I started sewing the thumbtacks have been great
Fab vid. Short and sweet just how I like em. Your mom! So young. Love the shots of your daughter before you said she was your daughter I wondered who she was cos she looks just like your mom. Your daughter is a cutie!
Thank you for posting your video. It is really helpfull for someone like me who is undergoing chemotherapy and would like to make their own wig. God bless you!
I am a designer/sewing specialist. I bought my 1st wig a wk ago. When I finally bought the glue to wear it, I fried it trying to clean the excess glue off that night. I thought it was human when I ordered it. But, when it got here I saw the Kane..name on the package. I didn't want to send it back because I was too anxious...what a waste of $85.
After trying to fix it I saw ...hey I can make this. Glad to see someone thinks like me & they all look great. & your daughter is adorable, too.
OK this was a great video....but i didnt understand what u were saying about how to sew the ends and close them ??? And how do you make sure the wig stays on, bobby pins ??? And WHY would you reuin the tracks my brushing them ?!?!?!?
thanks you korrisha! you just saved me a few hundred bucks! im also a cosplayer (like zinnca) and been going crazy over a wig i needed for a con next month, cheapest one for it was $170! though i dont think ill be able to do it as good as you though :(
great video, it was so helpful, I used your video to make my own wig since I am going natural and need protective styles, anyway, what brand color do you use for your natural hair..I color my nautral hair but is wary of the breakage, the color also fits you perfectly.thanks
I think the wig looked better before you combed it out. But it did look good when you put it on. I agree with mecca the waves do make you look softer. Thanks for the tutorial.
Nice job. I really liked the first one and the way it looked after being combed out and sheened down. Your mom and daughter are cuties. Three generations of lovely Black women!
i just loved this video, you know what your talking about. I see how professional your work and video is compared to all the rest. Its one slight problem. Its just some of the slides were to hard to read. But other than that it was great
Although I really didn't like any of the styles that you selected for yourself, I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to show-step-by-step the process taken to create a wig of your own. Keep up the good work!
This was a great video. It beats sewing in while the cap is in you head I did a remy goddess sratight yaki sew-in It came out cute, but it killed my neck....lol I will use this technique from now on thanx for tut.
Oh, Korrisha, I meant to ask if you could give me some tips on making weave in hair up in a wedding style upsweep? Is there something special that I need to do before I get started?
you're real creative but i really think you should have worn your own hair. you look much much better with your real hair. the weave u used looked really un- nautral and didn't really match your face but it all matters of weather you liked it
thank u korrisha. i love all the styles you showed. my favorite is the curly fro. i wouldnt even have known it was a wig. it looked so natural/real. keep doin ya thing. you got mad skills. oh yea 1 more thing mad props on your real hair its gorgeous.
Thanx so much, I have been wearing clip on hair and it has caused me to get a bald spot. I went and bought everything that you suggested and have seen the video....now, I just have to get up the nerve.
Thanks for the video! You look good in your wig if you dont want to do your hair you go for it! I do have a question I was able to use this video to make my wig but some net on top shows I turn the cap over and sow in to close it tighter but it makes the cap shrink anything else I can do? More hair??
U are talented! thanks for posting this video..i thought d only was to glue it on a wig cap!..i like the sew in better preserve the hair. (able to use over n over again) THANK YOU SO MUCH..keep d vids coming
Thank you so much for putting up this tutorial. I'm going to branch off a bit from this (since I style costume wigs) and use crepe hair rather in individual bits rather than the wefts you sewed in; hopefully I can get them thick enough! I will let you know if I'm successful in this! Thank you so much!
vey beautiful work ms.korrisha. i take cosmetology as a major in highschool and this was very useful to my creativity. we have to look nice for the class so when i dont really feel like braiding my hair and sewing it in ill want to make one of these. thnx for showing me how! i really appreciate it

bonita33diva 6 months ago
so...
put your hair in a braided bun
get a wig cap and place it on your head
cut of any excess cap and sew the hole closed
when sewing around the ear area, sew all the way around the head.
kep sewing in circle/squares around the head until reached to the top
when at the top, sew the tracks in in lines going eather l-r or r-l
then, brush out wig (optional i guess)
then spray with weave spray

Thanx so much, I have been wearing clip on hair and it has caused me to get a bald spot. I went and bought everything that you suggested and have seen the video....now, I just have to get up the nerve.
P.S. You and your family are very photogenic.

Thanks for the video! You look good in your wig if you dont want to do your hair you go for it! I do have a question I was able to use this video to make my wig but some net on top shows I turn the cap over and sow in to close it tighter but it makes the cap shrink anything else I can do? More hair??

How long does it take to make this half wig? How do you tie the thread once you get to the ends?

Thank you so much for putting up this tutorial. I'm going to branch off a bit from this (since I style costume wigs) and use crepe hair rather in individual bits rather than the wefts you sewed in; hopefully I can get them thick enough! I will let you know if I'm successful in this! Thank you so much!
