"Yay! We got a move in." 4:12. Poor Hamaguchi having to carry the match. Did Karn take the night off or what? Not that any sensible person would want to be beaten up by the Road warriors, of course
too bad vince screwed them with the new age outlaws that sucked so FUCKING badly he misused them and for that i disrespect him until this fucking day go lod and go fuck yourself vince
And that running double-team clothesline was stolen by the Hart Foundation, but by that time the Road Warriors were using the Doomsday Device as their finisher.
Killer Khan had one more run in the WWF after this match, but was pretty much a mid-carder in the states. The Road Warriors were the AWA World Tag Team champions at this point. Even though All Japan Pro Wrestling was a member of the NWA, the AWA would send their talent to wrestle there as well. The referee for the match is the legendary Joe Haguchi.
@dfc278 The Japanese fans loved monster American wrestlers like the Road Warriors and Bruiser Brody. The wilder and more brutish they were, often the more popular they were in the land of the Rising sun.
Killer Khan was a very strong Japanese wrestler. He is a singer and runs a tavern in Tokyo now. If you go to the tavern, you can meet Killer Khan. He is a nice guy!
this is the match that made the road warriors legends in japan. they beat the team of animal hamaguchi and killer khan that was one the best tag team in japan at the time. people did not expect the match to be a squash match, especially since it involved one of japan's best tag team. road warriors + japan = cha ching money!!!
Yeah, they were totally awesome in the early years. The strongest, most explosive, agressive wrestling team ever. So powerful and so dominating. It was fun to watch them manhandle and destroy opponents.
It's Killer Khan.

I remember back in the day, 84 or 84, whenever this was, there were a bunch of pictures in wrestling magazines of this match.
Cool to finally see the match.

まさにその通りですね。
故ジャイアント馬場は別格として、故ジャンボ鶴田と並んでカーン選手やキム・ドク選手は超大型の強いレスラーでした。

Expected result. Animal Hamaguchi was about 205 at best and Killer Khan was done at this point. The Road Warriors made mucho dinero in Japan.

that finish was botched i think. I think hamaguchi was intending to break the pin, then they'd have to off khan with the doomsday device.
