@StanOfGB The GTR is mainly RWD until it detects slip and calculates how much torque is needed to the front ,different to 90% of all AWDs somewhat similar to EVO The new GTR can do 2.7 seconds 0-60 mph , you can only put so much power down with RWD. To get the ZR1 0-60 time of 3.8 , over 20 times you would have to repeat this to get these figures due to RWD .The power you feel from an AWD is amazing , it wiill throw you back twice as hard as RWD.

@R34GTRR35 You don't seem to know much about cars. First of all, the ZR1 does 60 in 3.3 seconds. Secondly, take any RWD car with 500hp+ and give it AWD, it will be just as good or better than a GTR. And no, the GTR doesn't have part-time AWD because that would be called 4WD. Like I was saying, AWD is unimpressive, it's not for drivers and it is almost always with an automatic trans.

GTR = awesome aerodynamics + unbeatable launches + unbeatable shifts (fastest double clutch transmission ever as far as I know). only weakness: 1.7tons curb weight

C6 Z06 = a pure lightweight muscle car with raw 7.0 LS7 V8 power. no technology, just power. weakness: manual transmission which is hard to shift and hardly traction from a dig

@VpY22 As far as, the drivetrain goes..., the RWD. and, the AWD. are complete oppisite and, make a HUGE difference in launches and, accelerations! For ex...., think of the 2010 Jeep CherokeeSRT8. If the Jeep didn't have AWD...., it would have the Powerful launches, it does! The 'Vette may have a billions liters...but, that's only because, it back to our MuscleCar, racing heritage. ;-)
