@childofprosperity True man! I noticed that too! As a bass player i totally love late 60's - early 70's funk.. i learned how to play with those grooves.. Bassists mostly used flatwound strings and drummers a lot of ghost notes by the way!.. Check out "Soul Machine" by The Meters...
