Thanks for that link Sam, I couldn't help but tear up as I watched it. I know without a doubt that although I'm overall an optimist. I've become very cynical & calloused regarding our government. I'm just wary of anything the candidates say. I doubt it's got as much to do with them but rather me being fed up with politics in general. I still don't know who I'm voting for, but I think it's time to start researching more. I consider that progress from yesterday :-)

It would be nice to be able to stick to a single party and go with it, but there are corporatists in both parties. I don't adhere to party politics. Aside from foreign trade and the economy the other issue for me now is to get moderate politicans who can effect change into office instead of extremists. Constant partisan bickering does not help the citizenry.

Finally, two of the four top candidates have downtalked my city when campaigning elsewhere in the country. That doesn't fly.

I am voting for Mitt Romney because I am an accounting major and I am all about the economy. Mitt knows economic issues like nobody else running. He is more than just that and is able to offer a full package. He has what I concider a stong but fair imigration package, he is good on national security, and he offers the conservative social values that I like.
