RON PAUL is undoubtedly the best candidate, but it would take far to much research for the average American to find out why... So Hopefully Obama will win. The rest of the candidates are a bunch of phonies and crooks.
Hi Sam! Very funny parking lot segment ($15 or $20, What a choice! Ha Ha) I am not American, Canadian, but I would vote for Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton if i were to vote, they are both so smart and friendly! Bye!
Thanks for that link Sam, I couldn't help but tear up as I watched it. I know without a doubt that although I'm overall an optimist. I've become very cynical & calloused regarding our government. I'm just wary of anything the candidates say. I doubt it's got as much to do with them but rather me being fed up with politics in general. I still don't know who I'm voting for, but I think it's time to start researching more. I consider that progress from yesterday :-)
LOL I loved this post - mainly because I indentify with griffmom's sentiment....that I doubt it's got as much to do with them but rather being fed up with politics in general. And also, research is soooo important.
"I remember when I was growing up I always knew that America was the greatest nation on Earth. First nation to the moon, our cars and movies and technology were the envy of the entire world and freedom and opportunity was just like the air. It was everywhere I went. I believed there was nothing I couldn't do and I knew there was nothing that America couldn't do because we led the world..."
^^ This quote is from one of the top four candidates and this is the feeling I would like restored.
Unfortunately, this feeling was ruined by Republican outsourcing, arrogance of superiority over other countries and cultures, and a spin preying on innocent Americans who just listen to the surface and don't see the greed behind it. I too miss this feeling. And this administration has been the most destructive in our nation's history. ENOUGH.
It would be nice to be able to stick to a single party and go with it, but there are corporatists in both parties. I don't adhere to party politics. Aside from foreign trade and the economy the other issue for me now is to get moderate politicans who can effect change into office instead of extremists. Constant partisan bickering does not help the citizenry.
Finally, two of the four top candidates have downtalked my city when campaigning elsewhere in the country. That doesn't fly.
WOW! You really stirred up the comments today! I SINCERELY wish you were an option to vote for for Prez. I'm sorry, but I don't believe the "I'm not a black muslim," and I KNOW Hil is a B----! And she CRIED when she lost a state primary? How could somebody that silly run this country and deal with other world powers? I guess I'll vote for whoever the Rep. candidate is, except NOT Guiliani. (I heard he quit anyway.)
It's interesting for me to see comments by monikers who I've come to have affection for who then say things like that you think Obama is a Muslim or that Hillary is a bitch. Stop being fooled. What are we leaving our children? If you really like what I have to say on these vlogs, know this - It's a basically democratic philosophy - that I can't feel well if my brother is ill. Period. Not "me me take care of mine" Vote this party out of office. This is not a game.
Prior to the magic of the Kennedy endorsements, I was voting for Clinton. Now I'm conflicted. Do I go for the poetry of Obama or the nuts and bolts of Hilary. I love them both. Don't know what I'm going to do. Which is more likely to win the election? Can't tell.

literally - ever time I try to type/paste/anything the link - it won't take it! WHAT'S HAPPENING!!! Somehow I feel the Bush's are responsible!!!!!!!!!!!
I am voting for Mitt Romney because I am an accounting major and I am all about the economy. Mitt knows economic issues like nobody else running. He is more than just that and is able to offer a full package. He has what I concider a stong but fair imigration package, he is good on national security, and he offers the conservative social values that I like.
Mitt knows that is is the people that make America strong, not the government.
Mike Huckabee bc he is an honest man and supports the Fairtax, you do some open minded research and you will want to vote for him to...I used to be a ron paul supporter but now im a Huckabee fan!
I'm terribly suspicious of Hillary, I don't buy the "persona" she's suddenly playing. I don't believe it's convincing. Honestly, I'm not excited about anyone. Wow. I can't think of a more exciting time since Clinton and Gore the first time around. Both Obama and Clinton are thoroughly innovative and exciting candidates. I agree that McCain is tired, Romney is the same old thing in a new suit and Huckabee is a joke. But FOR ONCE the dems have it going on!
I'm not American, but if I could vote I would vote for Obama. Can't wait till you guys give Bush the boot - Australia celebrated when we got rid of John Howard late last year. :)
It's so much more important to give the Republicans the boot. Bush is out by law. It's time we stop condoning this destruction. This economy. This horrid war. This robbing of rights. This arrogance. This guise of values under the name of God. We dems always think "the truth" will win. It doesn't when you are playing with serious propagandists. It's time to step it up.
Bill Clinton sealed the deal for me. I'm going with Obama. I also don't like this crap Hillary is trying to pull with delegates in Michigan and Florida. Haven't we had enough of stolen elections? Now we're going to watch Hillary try to do it within our own party?
Don't know yet. Maybe someone new will enter yet! No current candidate seems to be
someone I'd want as the next president. But I believe it will be between Romney and Clinton. Right now, I guess I'd vote for Clinton. By the way, who is Ron Paul?
Don't know who I'm voting for yet. It would have been an easy decision if you had been running. You make more sense about so many things than anyone I've known. By the way love the hat.
Hillary all the way! The woman's earned it and she certainly knows how to deal with garbage! As far as Bill goes, she can't win there. Last summer, people were throwing stones at the fact that he wasn't out there for her - now he is and that's wrong too.
I want to be Hillary when I grow up (whenever that is) unless I can be Sam!
Either Edwards or Obama. There's just something about Hillary's personality that bothers me. Plus, I believe it's time for a new President whose last name isn't Bush or Clinton.
Btw, is there a tentative release date for your new album, Sam? I can't wait to hear it!
I couldn't stop laughing at what you said to the guy in the booth when you didn't have your ticket xD . Great stuff Sam, do me a favour and never change.
Sorry, don't know yet. I really need to read more. I'm a little behind (no I don't have a little behind... 'I am, I am'... pay attention :P) on my politics right now.
zooropa-have u seen the U2 in 3D movie yet? U must. It is AMAZING. Bono literally inches from your face. I died and went to Heaven. Bono/Harris in '08!!!
what what what?! I do not know of this! How could I not know of this? I am googling it now. Thank-you thank-you thank-you! You Rock! Bono/Harris in '08!
I'm for Hillary. Usually politicians are all promises and seldom deliver but remember when the Clintons agressively took on gays in the military and National healhcare. Perhaps they didn't succeed but at least you know gay rights and healthcare are true issues.
Bono for President and Sam Harris for V.P. OMG the world would be a perfect place. They could sing all the State of the Union addresses. I would actually care about politics. Come on people Bono/Harris. It's about time for Love and Peace.
Sam, Love the hat and glasses!!!! As always, love your vlog too!! I'm voting for HILLARY, we've already had too many men as Presidents and look where they've gotten us. The country was in a much better state when Bill Clinton was President and you know behind every great man there's an even greater WOMAN!!!!!
I am going to vote for Hillary. Sam, you are such a great and funny guy. I hope that the new cd is going well. I must have missed a vlog somewhere along the line. When is it going to be released and where can I buy it when it comes out. Take care. Mary Zangari
Hi, Sam!! Another hilarious vlog, as usual! Your vlogs make my day! Loved what I heard of the new song; can't wait to hear more. Who am I voting for? Hilary... although I like Obama, too...
When the "GOP" became as vicious as it did and took this country through a destructive, partisan impeachment, I vowed to never vote for another Republican.
The Libertarian motto, as I see it, is "Every man for himself." I think we're better than that.
I like John Edwards, but in the end I'd vote for BHO or HRC.
Now that Kucinich is out of the race, I'm supporting Mike Gravel. I see real change and someone that isn't bought with big corporate money, and I like his policies on the issues! Get big government out of our lives and STOP the New World Order! Love and Peace always!! :-)
"I predict a future happiness for Americans, if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them" -- Thomas Jefferson
Do not be blackmailed or bribed with entitlements offered by our government. For every dollar the government "gives" you they take away your priceless liberty. Vote for your principles and virtue, not your pocket book!
I'm not American, but if I /were/ I'd be voting for Hilary Clinton. As much as I think Obama is a charismatic guy, I don't think he'll have practical solutions to America's problems.
My favorite candidate was Ron Paul, but right now I'm hoping Mitt Romney wins (although I wish he'd switch his social views back to what they were when he was governor of Massachusetts).
I'm hoping for a Romney vs. Obama election, because I think they are each the best choice from their respective parties.
sam, i loved the hat and glasses. soo adorable. i am so torn about who i will vote for. it's never been so difficult to choose. i like both barack and hillary. they are very similiar in their agendas. i'm a bit concerned about obama's inexperience, but then again, he is so fresh. i think i'm leaning toward him. "that was easy"!! ha! - vicki
I voted for Romney in the primary but bottom line in the general I'm going to vote for whoever seems to understand the economy and foreign trade issues the best.
love the hat... I voted for HRC in the MI primary and hope to see her pull it out on Super Tuesday. I just feel more comfortable with her abilities as described in the NY Times endorsement then with Obama's lack of political battle experience. We need a candidate with big cajones! And boy does she have them. Change is very good and hope is wonderful, but as Anderson Cooper said, "hope is not a plan."
Obama, all the way. A kid in my english class just gave our teacher an easy button, I saw the title of this, and had to see if it was about an easy button.
You are just so adorable in this... I totally loved the hat. As for who I am voting for, not sure yet I am really torn. We need change thats for sure, but whose really gonna be better for those of us struggling to get by I just don't know.....
Stop and smell the rainbow... very funny. And you with the parking guy, hysterical. I love how even in a seemingly nonsense vlog it's still about something: "that was easy." I guess it all really is, righ? Except voting? I don't know!! Obama - Clinton - Obama - Clinton??? I like Edwards too. I am leaning toward Hillary but Barack is really getting to me. As long as it's one of them, right?
And you just love teasing us with the new music! I am looking forward to the first single!
I cannot tell you who I am voting for, I am undecided as of yet. I don't REALLY like any of them! I am always awed by rainbows, thanks for sharing that! that tollbooth man was adorable!
Well, if I could have voted... I would have voted for Obama!

I am going to vote for Hillary. Sam, you are such a great and funny guy. I hope that the new cd is going well. I must have missed a vlog somewhere along the line. When is it going to be released and where can I buy it when it comes out. Take care. Mary Zangari

I'm voting for Hillary. She has enough experience to be effective on the 1st day. I think Obama would make a great VP.

This year I will not be voting for anyone.

have not had primary here yet, assuming it McCain and Romney come March 4, I pick Mitt
Obama is a motivational speaker, but frankly after Teddy supported him and he went goo goo gaa gaa for it, I am against him

Who are you voting for is an easy question? o_O
I think it's pretty hard. :p
I'm not American, but if I /were/ I'd be voting for Hilary Clinton. As much as I think Obama is a charismatic guy, I don't think he'll have practical solutions to America's problems.

Blame Michael for that addendum! I think it's tough.

Voting for Hilary. As an educator, she represents the best plan for education.

I wish I had an easy button! haha.
I'm leaning towards Obama, but I guess I haven't made up my mind completely yet. I still need to do some research.

As long as it's one of them, right?

you sure are busy Sam!
And you just love teasing us with the new music! I am looking forward to the first single!
I cannot tell you who I am voting for, I am undecided as of yet. I don't REALLY like any of them! I am always awed by rainbows, thanks for sharing that! that tollbooth man was adorable!
