I wouldn't use the word emo - but definitely self-pitying and defeatist and somewhat jackassy (particularly the scene with the reference to Elizabeth bugged - from the moment he arrived, I just wanted to slap him).
Give me Nine and Five's regenerations - they went out on high points, when they were at their best.
Have you seen the Tenth Doctor: The Musical vid? Nine's reaction to the specials rather mirrored mine.
Yeah I've seen it - made me grin and I commented on it
yeah there were MANY moments when I wanted to smack Ten upside the head :P in his utter and MANY OOC/WTF moments >_< Nine, Four, Five, Seven and Three's regens will ALWAYS be my favs... which is sad since eight and six are my favorite doctors lol
What's really sad is that Ten Doesn't even have an 'exit' from the series that you want to think about... not really a 'bang' or a 'whoosh' or a cool saying... just a whimper...
@vvolfeline Six is a BRILLIANT Doctor - in the audio plays he leaves every other Doctor behind (save eight) most American's don't know about how awesome he is (I'm an American myself and didn't) because the audio plays are mostly a British thing.
I can honestly say, had it not been for Colin Baker, JNT and the BBC would have killed of Doctor Who a LOT sooner
@2Scribble Okay, I haven't had the privilege of listening to any of the audio plays. So, my initial reaction to Six was the result of watching just the series. I mean really... strangling Peri? I know he was mentally unstable, but that turned me off on the man. Not to mention that he was a complete asshole, in my opinion. Ah well. May have to seek out those plays now. Toodles!
I'm so glad my sister and I aren't the only ones who loathed Ten's regeneration to Eleven. Actually, except for "The Next Doctor", I didn't like any of the specials. Ten went out in the lowest point of his existence. He'd been jerky and power-trippy and no fun at all to watch for a while. Donna was right - he does need someone.

Well personally I loved this regeneration (and as such take issue with the term "emo"). But it's still a great video as always!

Yeah, it was clear that RTD was running on fumes by this point.
