hey you have a very nice tesla coil!you just need to tune it very badly...invest in buying some better capacitors..use about 7 out of a t.v. or go buy some mylar(from a craft store like joaan's and some foil).mine made a huge amout(considering how easy it was to make)of capacitance

Generally I have found that it is better to tune by using the Primary coil. Interesting show! Any details on your build?
