In a ROM, it helps to map first and second player controls to the same buttons, except reverse left and right for Tails. That way he becomes much easier to control and can collect rings from the opposite end of the pipe.

Ah I always hated how playing with Tails made the special stage harder. That green level where you need 210 rings at the end...I ragequit so many times when I was a kid from that map. But anyway yeah this song is majorly kick ass. I think my...yeah it's still hard.
