  • What a waste, flashy camera techniques have ruined this otherwise excellent video.

Repost without the camera jazz and you have a video that celebrates the Victor.

  • Ho can this be a walk around ? [as i look up at the ceiling]

  • I think the design was to enable the bomber to fly at high subsonic speeds. Area ruled fuselages were new then and the coke bottle look often very strong. I loved these aircraft when they came out.

  • Despite beign a rather ugly aircraft, the Victor also manages to be incredibly beutiful too.

  • thats a weird plane

  • im building a model kit of a victor k.2 never realized how cool this plane was!

  • Painfully nostalgic because my father was in charge of ensuring the wings were correctly aligned and connected. He worked at Handley Page from the 50's until it went bust. My home made gocart's steering was secured with a bolt from this plane. It's too bad he's no longer alive to know that people still care. I've never seen the plane so close up, but remember seeing it flying. Thanks.

  • At the Yorkshire Air museum (RAF Elvington)near York where I live they have a victor, in fact if you use google earth there should be a blue dot and if you put your mouse on it it'll say RAF museum Elvinton above this should be the victor!

  • Well done. I happen to be a fan of the Victor. The only bomber I like better is, of course, the Vulcan. Good song choice too.
