MTB was one of the most underrated southern rock bands, and this song is pure win. But Waylon sings it how it was supposed to be sang. It's outlaw shit. It's Waylon shit.
Why , for the love of God, is there more music like this on radio anymore? I'm a music lover of all genres. Rock,country, etc. You just don't get good shit like this anymore thanks in part to all the PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY KNOW MUSIC!!!! Give me a break.
This song is well liked because it tells how we feel when we are treated wronly and worst of all when we are "falsely accused". We look viciously at whatever is in our presence. Therefore we can find ourselves easily in a fight/argument with even small provocation. So don't mess with us. Don't tread on us like our other flag with a snake on it. I reckon that is why ya'll are arguing. There ain't really no justification. If you don't like my reasoning, then we can fight about it :) :)
i thought the song was about a woman and the effects of the feelings and sht we go through before,during and after that certain woman goes through our life.
