Ahh, I have a Royal Python too. He normally sleeps under his water bowl thats shaped to look like a rock. But when I always come to his cage with a nice live mouse in my hand, he always seems to sense me and and comes out quicker than lighting, flicking his tounge at the screen cover of the cage. I named him Dirty Sanchez. He's a couple of years old and I believe over two feet long.
Nice job of stepping in and making sure your snake don't get bitten very responcible live feeding 5*

actually that tiny mouse can because the snake didnt catch it by its head the mouse can start biting the snake and cause bad injury

ya that is montey python lol ya he is the best feeder out of all the snakes and he is royal pythons they are renowned for bad feeding
