Hi Bolgi, the hundreds of tourists and locals, who enjoyed the street performance, would not agree with you. One of the impersonators is a much acclaimed professional who tours the country. Sorry if you did not find their act worthwhile. They gave their time free and helped to raise funds for Sid's cancer charity. Paul
Sid Shaw seems like a very nice fellow and it's very sad about his wife passing away.
However, I don't think the impersonators contribute much, if anything, to the legacy of Elvis Presley. For the most part they look ridiculous in the jumpsuits and never sound like him. To sing in a deep voice whilst jiggling a beer belly is not a tribute as far as I am concerned. Elvis Presley was unique and deserves greater respect as an artist.
