  • this was the last footage of Bruce Lee ever filmed...it was after all the ETD crew left back to America...it was filmed at Woodland Crest in April of 1973 I believe...2 months before Lee was gone...

  • Why are they fighting in underwear?

  • @MokonaSoccerPlayer22 one of the traditional chinese m arts apparel or maybe bruce & sammo wanted to air out the jewels

  • Later Samo Hung become fatter and his moves were like "How could he do that when he`s so fat" :-)

  • Most people are not aware of this but, the first Combat Art he learned was not Kung Fu. It was Western Boxing, at a Boy's Boxing Club, in Hong Kong, run by an Irish Catholic priest.

He was a true Mixed Martial Artist.

  • @shanoknowsmma are you talking about Bruce Lee or Sammo Hung? Bruce Lee's started out with Wing Chun martial arts.

  • MMA in 1973.

  • i've seen this so many times i did not reallise that was sammo hung. i've seen game of death, i knew sammo was in that but he just looks different here

  • @CoffeeBeatsTea its because hes only like 20 or 21 in when it was filmed

  • they got beef on lee, they can go hump a tree!

  • these 2 wouldnae last a min in a glasgoe pub n a sat night lol

  • bruce was good in kicks and fight but not that exceptionally good in those jumping moves like Sammo HUNG, Jackie CHAN, Yuen Wah and Yuen Biao, etc, who actually learnt Northern Chinese Opera in Hong Kong (not China). They joint the same master in name of 'Yu Jim Yuen'. In fact, Bruce's father (LEE Hoi Chuen) is a very famous Southern Chinese Opera star in Hong Kong. Bruce was born in US when his father was performing in China Town in US with his wife. Chin. opera involves figthing scene!

  • That's why he needed 'Yuen Wah' as his stunt man to perform jumping moves in some movies!

  • @edistdats Wasent it Yuen Biao That double for Bruce sometimes in this movie?I can be wrong.

  • @elvisjimpa100 You are wrong, Yuen Wah doubled for Bruce in this movie. The summersault just after this scene and the flip when Bob Wall grabs Bruce Lee's ankle. Yuen Biao did however, double for the fake Bruce Lee in both Game of Death and Game of Death 2

  • @Paul07791 your maby right but i read in a swedish magasine called fighter in 1991 way before the internet wen they interviu Jackie and jackie himself said it was hes own brother.I know he calls biao and sammo for hes kungfu brohers but this was hes real brother.I trust that mor then the internt but like i said i can be wrong.

  • @elvisjimpa100 Well, I have never heard of Yuen Biao doubling for Bruce in Enter The Dragon. He is visible in the movie, the scene with everyone punching in white suits when Bruce and company first get to the island. Of course Yuen Wah also went to the same Peking Opera as Jackie. Lam Ching Ying is also in the movie. He went to a different Opera school and he doubled for Shek Kin (Mr Han). Jackie doubled for the bad guy in Fist of Fury.

  • @Paul07791 I think Yuen Biao doubles Bruce at some unfinished part of Game of Death after Bruce's departure, but not as stunt-double.

  • @shishihenge Yes, he doubles for the Bruce-double during the late 70's when they decided to complete the film.

  • @Paul07791 man the kick flipping backwards wasn't doubled, there are pictures of bruce mid air and you can see his face, but I have my doubts about the flip in the end of this scene

  • @diplomata1990 He was doubled for the O'Hara flip, to which you are reffering. Bruce didn't do flips, especially after hurting his back in the 60's from lifting weights.

  • @Paul07791 have you read UNSETTLED MATTERS...well there is a medical record that proves bruce had not hurt his back from strength work.

  • @diplomata1990 No I haven't. I think I got that from the documentaries I have seen, audio commentries by Bey Logan etc. Maybe you are right, though if that were case then surely the book should be titled "settled matters" lol.

  • @Paul07791 definitely now things are settled. Man, I am a jkd student and I'm here to help you grow your knowledge about bl. Google UNSETLED MATTERS by Tom Bleecker, there is a web site where you can find the whole book free. Peace!

  • I doubt that very much about fatso there kicking my tail...I mean, dig how chubby that fatty acid is. I would have bounce that overgrown chinky like an Oriental ping-pong ball...

    AND I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE!

  • @grumpypant:You stupid retarded aborted fetus.YOU WOULD DO A PIECE OF SHIT AND YOU HAVE A PIECE OF SHIT INSTEAD OF BRAIN, WHICH YOU USE TO SPREAD YOUR CRAP-POSTS OVER YOUTUBE. NOBODY IS INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU WOULD DO, FUCKBRAIN. IF YOU CONFRONTED SAMO YOU WOULD WOULD SPIT YOUR TEETH. BY THE WAY, IF YOU THINK THAT CHUBBY GUYS COULD NOT KICK YOUR ASS, GO AND ASK MIGHTY MO TO GIVE YOU A LESSON, BUT DO NOT FORGET TO BUY A COFFIN FOR YOURSELF IN ADVANCE.

I APPROVE THAT YOU ARE BULLSHIT-EMPEROR.

  • @ElJackale WHAT WAS THAT, EL JACKASS-SON, AN EXHIBITION?!!!...WE NEED EMOTIONAL CONTENTS---NOT ANGER!!!...

...IT IS LIKE A MIDDLE FINGER STICKIN' STRAIGHT UP YOUR ASS...DON'T LOOK AT THE FINGER OR IT WILL BE SHOVED FURTHER UP YOUR ASS!!!...

...NEVER KEEP YOUR EYES OFF OF YOUR OPPONENT OR ELSE HE WILL ALSO SHOVE HIS COMBAT BOOTS DEEP, DEEP UP YOUR ANGRY ASS!!!

  • @ElJackale Please allow me to rewrite you comment with proper English grammar: YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF SHIT AND YOU HAVE SHIT FOR BRAIN IN WHICH YOU USE IT TO SPREAD NONSENSE CRAPS ALL OVER YOUTUBE! NOBODY IS INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY, FUCKBRAIN! HAD YOU CONFRONTED EL CHUBBY...I MEAN, SAMMO, YOU WOULD BE SPITTING OUT YOUR OWN TEETH...

Do remember to thank me before you turn in tonight with you Hello Kitty teddybears, okay amigo?!!! LONG LIVES GERONIMO!!!

  • @grumpypant: "rewrite you comment with proper English grammar"

Thank you for your efforts, but :

YOU WOULD DO A PIECE OF SHIT means something completely different than YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF SHIT

NOBODY IS INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU WOULD DO is not equal to NOBODY IS INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY.

IF YOU CONFRONTED SAMO vs HAD YOU CONFRONTED SAMO

I meant future, because Samo is still alive, so there still is a slight chance that you will be able to prove your claims.

  • @grumpypant : Just because you love to have something stuck in your ass, does not mean that others love it too. Instead of bothering us with your pervesion, visit your nearest proctologist and he will satisfy your needs.

  • @grumpypant: If my english is so insufficient for you, than we can continue our conversation in my mother-language or in german and I can guarantee you that you will be satisfied. Lass Dich einweisen.

  • @grumpypant: P.S. Your victory over Samo is as real as Iran without homosexuals, BULLSHIT-EMPEROR. Feel free to post your bullcrap-replies, but I won't read them.

  • @grumpypant Not to get too deep into your guys little pillowfight, but Sammo Hung would right now, today kick about 85% of men in the worlds ass and he is pushing 60. He has gone through real martial arts training while most of us, me included, have gone through at best some high school athletics. It is easy to be tough on message boards, almost everyone that tries to be is a fatter, sloppier joke than your average guy. Don't expect a reply, I know logic has no chance in an internet argument.

  • At 00:53 its not bruce lee.. its Yuen Wah, Bruce lee's stunt double.

  • @wildchildGil

    Are you sure?

I believed Bruce Lee had never had stunt double.

  • @Simple007Man u believe wrong man, everybody knows yuen wah was his stuntman, and some other too. Bruce was a geniuos, excelent fighter and philosopher, but no stunt man or acrobat.

  • @wildchildGil Totaly agree with you,

i beleive Jackie Chan and yuen biao were Bruce Lee's stunt men. Bruce Lee was way way way ahead of his time and there will never be another.

the man used to make his own protien shakes in the 60's for Christ Sake!

  • @wildchildGil bruce said during the filming of enter the dragon that he'd love to learn acrobatics; he may have told that to sammo hung; unfortunately he may not have gotten the chance but he was obviously very impressed with sammo hung's acrobatic skills & others.

  • This would be quite good if it was in the right aspect ratio and didn't have writing all over it!

  • ..I wish people would stop calling Bruce Lee ''kung fu'' Bruce Lee was Jeet Kune Do, yes he trained ''Kung Fu'' under Yip Man whilst growing up but he realised that Kung-Fu by itself does not make a complete fighter, thus Bruce started training European Boxing, Judo and Hapkido and combined them all to create 'Jeet Kune Do'' which means pretty much using all ways to win a fight as THE way to win a fight.

That is why they call Bruce Lee the pioneer of MMA.

  • @Dungarth

Yay for flexing your wiki knowledge. The word kung fu 功夫 literally means skill acquired via long and hard work. So yes, JKD is kung fu. Also, JKD is more of a philosophy. There is no correct way to fight -- there are purists who use one style and can kick most MMA fighters up and down the streets.

Source: My 12+ years of Hung Fut, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Judo, Tai Chi.

  • @Dungarth The name of the first master will always follow the student, it can't be helped, and Bruce didnt seem to mind, he didnt believe in names, he just believe in Philosophy, of Wing Chun, and his own.

  • well.... this wsnt even a real submision.. srry. but hey, it looks cool!

  • @Klootjee Man, its name is´´CRUCIFIXO`` in portuguese, in english I don`t know, maybe, something like double arm submision.

  • @MsPedrosilvestre in english it is a Crucifix, and i know this isnt a real Crucifix. the guy taps because hes neck hurts from the stupid position bruce put him in to, and tapping because you cant get out of a position is just giving up. its like tapping out to punches.

  • @Klootjee You´re totally right, i agree but Lee spoke: No inflexible positions or postures, to adapt yourself, have no one style and be like water(MY FRIEND).

  • what kind of gloves are these?are these kenpo gloves?can someone pls enlighten me..

  • I never get tired of watching this, or any of Bruce's films. Even when my wife is home, I take over the television to watch any of his films.

  • ...why...even Kip Dynamite has better "reflexes" than El Porkeo there!!!

  • Unbelievable bullshit! For Bruce to take on an "Oriental porky" like Sammo is unfair; even a loser like myself can whip his human bowling ball ass...UNFAIR! UNFAIR! UNFAIR!!!

  • @grumpypant: are you crazy sammo has mad skills and you dont know how he would match up to Bruce Lee in a real fight. This is a movie and Bruce is the star and therefor he wins, get it??

  • @HKA25 Sammo Hung admitted in a TV interview he had a sparring match with Bruce Lee and lost convincingly. Sammo does have crazy skills but at that time Bruce Lee was way ahead of his time.

  • @TickleMeSilly720 hmm I see..

  • @TickleMeSilly720 very true in 1973 the only thing sammo had over bruce was acrobatic skills which bruce expressed a desire to learn after watching sammo & of course they were friends like jacky chan & sammo.

  • @grumpypant Bullshit! Sammo would kick your ass in 1 second.

  • @grumpypant bruce lee and sammo trained together, sammo fucks your ass up :D

  • @badddyminator yes bruce lee & sammo were pals just like sammo & jacky chan are pals.

  • @grumpypant bruce lee picked sammo because sammo was a good actor, m artist, friend & Acrobat.

  • ñ tinha oq fazer

  • It is really appreciateble to show films from legenadary Kung Fu martial arts Bruce Lee.

  • no doubt that BRUCE LEE was the best!i loved all his movies!

  • Someone said that Bruce was only actor ...

  • I just learned in looking up and old tv show called Sammo Law that he is the guy Bruce Lee fought

  • @dreameryoung38: you mean martial law? yeah I used to watch that show too, it was crazy :)

  • Replay the punch combination at :37.....SICK! I defy anyone that can find anything on film that even comes close to this spectacular display of speed, power, and precision. He doesn't make contact since it was for a movie...now imagine what kind of damage he would've caused if those 3 punches had landed without wearing gloves! Gotta luv the crazed look on Bruce's face after he delivers the combo too! It's as if he is letting everyone know that he is DA MAN.

  • 1973 MMA....bruce lee was way ahead of his time...

  • @xwaimuix indeed he was, and people say that if he would enter a UFC he would lose... I think he would meet top spot

  • 0:45 Sammo is quite agile

  • Bruce taps him out for him! ^_^

  • I think a lot of martial arts movies fans don't realize that the people getting beat on screen are often as talented and many times more talented than the "stars" whose characters beat them in the films. Bruce knew who was good and handpicked Sammo to be his opponent in this film. He's great!

  • @elfhermie definitely bruce knew talent when he saw it & potential

  • Omg?! That was Sammo Hung?! *droolz <3*

  • A rather thin Sammo Hung!

  • Man,it gives me an erection,to see this chubby guy wearing his tight Speedo underwear and being brutally beaten and humiliated in front of all.

  • @marciopasiotto

    Oh gosh.....

  • @marciopasiotto i hope youre joking

  • Comment removed

  • is it true that this fight scene was a free-fight full contact scene?

  • Emphatically not. Come on, all those somersaults? The practically no-touch throws? The continual close-ups, poses, and changes in camera angle? Pay attention.

  • Bruce Lee did not master the acrobatics?

  • No he never did. I think he wanted to, though. Yuen Wah doubled him for the flip here. Bruce was more about real martial arts, which don't use acrobatics. But as a performer, he knew what looked cool on screen and probably would've tried to learn it had he gotten the chance. Still, there's no shame in well used stunt doubles. Stunt people are the best at what they do. People just don't give them the credit they deserve for being "unsung heroes" making the stars look even better.

  • @toninote No but he told someone(i think it was sammo)that he'd love to learn it he died of course shortly after the film was made so dont know how much acrobatics training bruce got.

  • yes yes even bruce throws salto

  • 0:54 is Bruce Lee?

  • No ,yuen biao

  • yes man =) the legand bruce lee

  • if he join ufc, other than yellow jumpsuit this cud be his attire of choice...

  • its strange how people dont know about sammo in this movie...he had a major role here altho he was reduced to slo mo stuff for american market...didnt get a clean shot in...but then who did get shots in bruce lee movies...

how about finding yuen biao in this movie...if anyone knows where he is point it out for me...i must have lazy eyes...

  • don't forget jackie's in this too

yuen biao is the one who does the back flip kick for bruce

  • no thats jackies brother.i read that from a swedish magasin in 1996 when some swedish guys interwiuwed him.Jackie said it himself.

  • who are you saying is jackie's brother?

  • The gut that did the backflip kick on Bob Wall.I dont know hes name sorry

  • that's yuen biao and no that's not jackies brother jackie did not have any siblings in martial arts

  • Ok you maby right but i read in a swedish magasin called fighter in 1996 when fighter interwiuved jackie and they said that jackie hade said to them in the interviue that it was hes own brother but i can be wrong

  • no jackie calls him his brother along with sammo hung back from the days they grew up together at the chinese opera academy

  • Yes i know, they calls the 3 dragons in asia.I have done a tribute to mr jackie chan. Please check it out and tell me what you think, peace your friend Jimmy.

  • No!!! Yuen Biao does the back flip kick against O Hara? Please give me proof of this.

  • in jackie chans bio he said that this was one movie that the 3 dragons did as all stuntmen and extras

  • I believe It's Yuen Wah who does the back flip in the fight against O' Hara.

  • @dangin5

it Yuen Wah, Jackie called him his brother because he is one of his classmate in Peking Opera alongside with Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao and Corey Yuen.

  • He is one of the karate trainers on the iland of han.he passes by in like 2 seconds and jackie was in this too.he attackt bruce from behind and got hes neck broken

  • lol they are wearing MMA gloves, put the UFC logo on it lol.

  • samo does backflips like it's nothing... aha

    awesome

  • lol that wasnt even a armbar xD :p

    Great movie though :D

  • Holy shit! I've watched EtD countless of times and this is the first time i noticed (thanks to the title fo this video) that's Samo....

    Funny

  • submission!

  • classic mma !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remeber this god old movie.

  • cool
