Looks good except the mast looks way taller than a full scale would be. I had to purposely lower the frame in my Hughes 500 to get the rotor close to the body.
I don't know any local heli guys were I'm at. I'm a car guy but have been watching the heli vids lately. 1)Can you 3d fly with that body? 2)Is that body mountable in such a way that it can be removed after every day at the field? I just bought a simulator and will be practicing till I feel I'm ready for a Raptor. Planning on buying a kit.
Sorry it took so long to answer: Technically if your heli has enough power yes you can do 3D, but I don't see it very much since the fuselages are time consuming to build and costly. The body is not easily removed(on most anyway) and the heli is not flyable without it.
Love everything, but only 99.7% there...you know why? the smoke...everything looks so real except the smoke from the unburnt fuel. but anyways, you did your part the best you could i guess
dam thats such a nice heli i bought my first 4 servo one today (electric) and its brocken already lol ive broken all 4 blades and a gear probs should have flown it outside first :$ (any tips???)
If you want one like this You have to build the heli from a kit, the fuse must be built from a fiberglass kit....lots of scratch building. Not a beginner heli by any means. Check out a Blade CP on ebay for a good starter.
The best way to learn(for me anyway) is to get a cheap and crash resistant mini heli like a LMH or a Corona and fly nose-in and full flight manuvers until it's just second nature, then you don't get nervous when theres $1,500.00 looking back at you. I cant tell you how many times I've dumped my LMH only to go out and actually bend the boom back into place and put her right back in the air.

Thanks, If I ever do another one I'm going to use an electric with a flybarless head. The frame in this one is as low as it can go.
