I saw these guys at Graspop in Belgium June this year.

All I can say is that they are Friggin' Excellent.

I travelled from Australia to go to that Metal festival, and they were one of the best bands that Performed... Hope all goes well and they continue for many years.

my God can people stop complaining about the growling? Good grief. Every bit of music production requires emotion, and it isn't easy! Growling is a feature (to some), and a huge benefit (to many). Without the growls of this band, you would have never visited this video at all.

To me Epica would be better without that :) And when I comment a song I actually comment the song not write jokes and that I`m listening to this in 2011. :)

@kiks740 the thing you have to realize is the opera style voice that simone does and screaming are 2 side of the same coin, one (opera) is a extremely clear voice, crystalline with as little rasp as possible, and screaming is the opposite mostly/all rasp, they create a contrast , her voice would not sound quite the same in the song if not for his growls, i listen to lots of bands that scream as well as to this/nightwish/hb . I Love both styles.Though i wish they had a BETTER growler myself.

@carltoncanon to be honest i dont like most European screamers, i think its a culture thing more than anything, both this guy, and nightwish scream the same way, also bands like Dark Lunacy have a similary scream, i like screams from bands like august burns red, for today, impending doom (second/third album),the devil wears prada, asking alexandria, emery,eyes set to kill. its been a real block for me on some bands that come from Europe. coarse it may just be the genre.

@kiks740 i think the growling parts add dark emotion to the music, and i feel it is a necessary component to what they try to convey in their music, the darkness that is human corruption, you may not like the growling parts, but some of the best lyrics are done by the growling parts and i think the voice is spot on when trying to convey the messages
