Good review! I've been playing Laser Squad Nemesis for some years now and can definitely attest to its enduring quality.
I have to say, though, that I think it's quite a bit cheaper than $5 a month... the subscription cost has been going down in recent years to reward the loyal player-base.
Thanks for watching, DancerDougal. I appreciate your feedback.
In the first year it's $50 for the year. I could have said that it was "over $4 per month," but I generally like to list prices in terms of "under X amount." That's why I went with "under $5 per month." I know it's cheaper when you are renewing, but the review is written for people that haven't played yet. I think the $5 is more applicable to them.
I need help. this vid reminded me of a game I saw my freinds used to play on PC. I don't know the name and that's what I need help with. it was a army (WWII?) strategy game. they would play off 1 computer. first would plot commands to the squad like in the above video. when done the other (out of the room) would plot his moves (not knowing what the other did) and then they would hit a 'go' button and the battle would happen in real time. any ideas? sory bgbb for using your vid like this.
fairly certain. i specifically remember one would be out of the room while the other plotted the movements of his squad, click finish. then the other would come and plot his moves. then they would both watch as the action unfolded in realtime. thanx for the help I'll check that out in the searches. Keep the vids coming, you rock! YOW!
Not only are your shows entertaining, they cover a wide variety of gaming. Keep it up man! I love these! BTW, I did own a PS1 floppy drive for memory cards. Ever used one of those?
NO, but I wish I had. That sounds like an excellent way of moving data around. My first "animation" was done in Fighter Maker 1 for the PS1, and the floppy drive would have really enhanced the experience.
5* for an AMAZING Ending

A game where you switch back and forth is call a "hotseat" game. If you look that up, you might find what you are looking for.
Are you certain it wasn't LSN?

Lasersquad was created by a few of the guys who worked on X-Com.
And yah, the Datel products tend to destroy files if your not careful. Good review!

That ending was awesome. The closest I have to the Max Drive was my Action Replay (GC) and my GameShark (N64).
