Great job. All of us owe you and all our Heroes who gave so much everything you need to lead a normal life now. There should be a parade in every town annually to honor our fallen and surviving vets.
Some people are REALLY forgetting what we stand for lately, but lots of us still get it, even with the propaganda against the war.

How little they understand our history and what it took to make America the best country on the planet to be born, live, and die in. Those from whom they descended would no doubt be ashamed of them. I came back to see this video again. It is just as touching as it was the first or 5th time I saw it. I show it to everyone who will take a few minutes to see it.
If we are going to ask our young to go fight and maybe die for us, which they do with honor and courage, then they should NEVER be left to live on the streets or a shelter!
this video reminds me of my uncle eliot i was named after him he is still mia we may never find him its sad he was only 25 he had a wife and 2 kids and its so hard to not think about him i have been to that wall and he is on the 34 row 25 down it says Eliot Huff mia lost but never forgotten

This video makes me more ashamed than I already was, let me explain. I was one of the protest organizers against the war. I was at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. The awful truth is, what we did (the protesters) had little to do with peace, war, politics or any of that. We didn't want to go, we didn't want to die, we thought we were fighting for our lives when we should have been fighting for our country. I'll never forgive myself for what I did back then. I'm sorry.
Don't beat yourself up for doing what you felt was right for you at the time.....and they were troubling times for all of us. I feel as much of a fellow American to you now as I did when I volunteered to go to Vietnam. And, not many of us would say no if our country called us again. It's all about being a good soldier and a true patriot. Our country, with all it's problems, is now and will always be, the best country to be born, live, and die in........on earth. God Bless America!
