  • Bet that would be a bitch to get down...unless of course you had an 80,000 foot string.

  • While very very impressive, the wide angle lens give it a false appearance of it being higher than it actually is. Still damn impressive.

  • Imagine you'd get it on the head.

  • I like how it can go down 197 feet in the water, but 80,000 feet up into the atmosphere

  • camera falls on floor fromm 80.000 ft- dont wanna know what happened if you filmed with a nikia -.-

  • that camera is a beast

  • 3:32 Looks like a body falling

  • i 've so many question..

    1. How did you guys can get the camera back?

    2. Is it broke if it fall that long?

3.why it didnt become meteor ._.

  • @TheReyzuken 1.place a tracker on it.

    2. put it inside a really good case

    3. not big enough

  • hand at 1:13

  • So......a camera touched ground from 80000ft near space and is still working...

Please tell me the brand of the camera.

  • @soranoeien Gopro..

  • @soranoeien gopro hero 2

  • @soranoeien its all about the terminal velocity, doesnt matter if its 2000 feet or 80000 feet, if it already reached max speed, it aint going faster unless its being propelled etc. though that does leave the question how did it survive a fall at the speed it went, specially for a camera, maybe it had protection? dunno either

  • So that's how they get Windows Backgrounds!

  • looks like a falling body @ 3:33

  • incredible.

  • It's fake!

  • @jaymangu NOT fake

  • the camera back because they uses GPS

  • If people keep launching this daily, I'm sure we'll find some aliens creepin' through space!

  • 3:32 thats what its like to jump to your death....

  • is it me, or does the ground at 1:40 look like a crumpled napkin or a sheet of paper?

  • @ZEROVOK Cheers

  • who saw a face on the ground at 80 km?

  • @danielf17 what time was it in the video?

  • space all day :)

  • 1:54 something shoots across the screen in the background.

  • @boog33100 It's just a star, the camera is rotating which makes it look like it's something travelling across the screen, but it's not

  • @boog33100 superman

  • Earth is so beautiful. And we fuckheads don't realize it and are hell bent on destroying it.

  • @madshy ;) you havent been informed I see, that Al Gore-shit was a scam. We have close to zero control over anything in the world, and if we had, there is natural rebalancing that will rebalance everything, earth is far from fragile.

  • @BestChannelEver2011 While I agree that "destroy" is a poor term to use, the fragility does not refer to the planet itself but the state it is in. While there are indeed "natural rebalancing" mechanisms in the atmosphere and hydrosphere, no action is left without a reaction. Yes the planet will still be here and probably even reorient its gases and temperature but only after changing something else like sea levels and acidity.

  • Holy shit the earth Is fucking tiny!

  • @TARMSPRACKAROLOF I believe i was'nt being very serious at all, sir

  • 0:00 - 2:33 is advertisement about how great the camera is, 2:34 is what you get. sramble noise and shakes even when a dead man is holding it.

Yeah i own a conture HD.

  • Hokay... So... Heerz the Urth...

  • Scientists... Umadbro?

  • Love the ignorant comments of disbelief lol using Google earth and the approximate scale of the frame where the picture of Davenport Municipal airport is, it can easily be verified that this is, indeed, at close to 80,000 ft. I'm done here.

  • go pro survived an 80,000 foot fall... what have you done with your life?

  • It must be fake! U can see earth rounded from about 300meters using this fish eye gopro! On this vid the earth is no very round wery high as it should be with gopro...

  • @WODTGAMER525 The guys from the ISS missions bring it back each time.

  • @WODTGAMER525 i was thinking the same thing the whole time!!!how did they get it back, does it have gps tracking device inside or what, can someone please explain?!

  • @WODTGAMER525 camera would have a GPS in it that would emit to them it's location once it lands back on earth. It's other a weather balloon & wont stay in space forever.

  • @WODTGAMER525 the camera back because they uses GPS

  • @WODTGAMER525 Maybe with the GPS

  • howd they get the camera back

  • @frederic129 yeah i know im only messing man :D

  • @fgv112 Exactly what I thought man!

  • @xJoeScopes right

  • @fgv112 maybe it is the weather balloon.

  • @fgv112 He was trying to catch it

  • @fgv112 it was the baloon

  • @fgv112 that was the camera's chute bro.

  • @fgv112 Huh? Actually it are just the remains of the balloon...

  • @fgv112 Really?

    That was the balloon!

  • @fgv112 that was the balloon

  • @fgv112 I believe that's the balloon, sir.

  • @fgv112 xDDDDDDD fckin troll

  • look inside the baloon there is a little human-ish creature running around and stuff

kind of sad how he died when the baloon popped....

he was layed on his back tried to sit straight fell on his back en POP!!

    may he rest in peace...

  • I swear, at 3:33 it looked like there was a guy falling and flailing his arms around!

  • Balloon : FUCK DIS SHIT.

  • So.. How did they find it after it landed...?

  • @Th3Worthless some device or gps to track them?

  • may de may de we're falling i repeat we're falling!

  • Those rocks at the end look AMAZING. Oh and the rest was pretty cool too.

  • That was awesome. thanks for sharing.

  • what to say ... wow!

  • GREAT

now we just need to pay 3000+

    to build an satelite

  • oooo nooo i think i left my kid on there!!!!!!!!!

  • Where is waldo?

  • 3:33 Maybe it wasn't a good idea for the guy to jump out of space aswell... :')

  • Me and my friends want to do the same thing, but we don't know how to plan the parachute and the box to put it inside. Can you help me with it?

  • @XameteCorporation they didn't use a parachute and I'd highly recommend talking with the FAA before doing this as you could get in serious trouble for using air space without permission and causing problems with air traffic.

  • Its so strange, seeing the curvature of the earth but when you look at the land you can see it doesn't look like nearly as much as it should

  • @deathpyre It's not quite as it seems deathpyre. You would see some curvature from that altitude, but because an extremely wide-angle lens was used, the earths curvature in the film is greatly exaggerated. That explains why there doesn't seem to be enough land showing.

  • @71cassini ahh yeah didnt think about the lens, in some of the other shots it looked fine. Thanks for the comment

  • What if aliens took the camera and filmed their dicks with it, and then sent it back down?

  • @iTiDarkenedK It'd be awkward for us.. hilarious for them

  • The balloon pops because the pressure of the gas trying to escape.

  • I sound a bit of a idoit asking this but why did the balloon pop at the high alt

  • @AviationFan19 At low altitude the air pressure is bigger ... therefore the balloon is in its form ... the higher the balloon goes the less pressure there is ... therefore the balloon expands ... since it still has the same ammount of helium or whatever it is filled with.

Once the balloon gets high enough the resulting air pressure isnt enough anymore to hold it in its shape. And the balloon expands to a critical mass ... makes pop ... adn off we go back to earth

  • from that view in 360 panarama, you were in space. You showed the complete earth outer edge. I'm surprised the camera didn't disintergrate on impact.

  • awsome!

  • lol the car drives by why are there 6 ppl staring at the sky?

  • Nice triiiip!!!!

  • how the fuck did it survive the landing?

  • How neat is that?! Isn't nature just neat?!

  • this is one of the coolest videos I have ever seen!!

  • I think i saw an alien spacecraft

  • @mvakleko in no way could a tiny camera such as this interfere with an airplane they air engineered to deal with things entering the engine such as large birds you would only lose your camera

  • These videos need to stop. One of these days somebody is going to try this and interfere with an airplanes. I don't want to imagine what would happen if one of those balloons got sucked into a jet. Than the people will come after you for giving them ideas.

  • Thank you for a headache. That was still awesome anyways

  • ... imagine the people in the area where it landed .... dude's like .. " Mann i wish i had a camera" ...

  • Awesome footage, this is like a Poor Mans Keyhole!!

  • Its like the map of Skyrim

  • imagine hitting a plane with it while it is going back down...oooops!

  • GoPro Space Approved!

  • gopro survives fucking everything

  • 2:21 blop :D

  • Great!

  • how does the balloon pop off?

  • @ronnyvettel92 the pressure inside the balloon and outside is to different, result: the balloon bursts

  • @ronnyvettel92 In space or low pressure they expand until they reaching maximum stretch rate then explode.

  • SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 3:43 Dat rock.
