acoustic is an easy start and a fast way to build caluse. 200 dollar amp is cheap. i'm rockin on a 450 dollar crate amp. and it's still cheap. a good amp is gonna cost over 500 dollars.

yeah, but the problem with marshall is that you either need a full cabinet (which will end up over 500 bucks) or if you're getttin a combo it's alright but you can do better. it all depends on what you wanna play. i prefer peavey,raven, and line 6. just for the overdrives....
