  • I only get a picture of the start of the video and it only records my sound, tried everything, Please help me

  • @afarius

try reducing your recording settings in FRAPS, playing back the recorded files takes lots of CPU power too. I found sometimes they lag up for me.

  • How do I record the FPS in the corner? It's usually not there after you recorded and watch a video.

  • @Punisherrrrrrrrr

For me as long as I could see the frame counter when recording, it would show the frame counter during playback

  • When on the fraps decompression, i can't click configure, or use it, it only comes up an error when i try to save it.

  • @Citroable

You actually don't want to go on the fraps decompression tab. If you watch the video again @1:50 notice I am on the ffdshow video codec tab. In order to get that tab you will need k-lite codec installed. Or a similar codec pack. See video description for k-lite codec

  • Hey.. what are you PC specs?

  • @adrianvilcan

At the time I made the video I had a Core i7@3.0ghz, EVGA GTX275, 3x2GB OCZ gold, 2x500GB Seagates in RAID 0. Currently I have the i7 920@4.0ghz (bought new liquid cooling), 2x5870 in Crossfire, same RAM and HDD.

  • ne way to record without all the stuff on the screen like HUD and all that? ik i can do hardcore maps but that still has the chat box

  • @Kille78

FRAPS records directly what is displayed on the the screen. So say for example I alt tabbed out into windows you would see me move around the windows environment. Also say for example I had some sort of wall-hack on you would see everything that was displayed on my screen. So to answer you question no. BC2 does not have a demo recording mode like COD

  • There is no option for "MPEG-4" at 1:50 for me, what am I doing wrong?? Please help! :)

  • @chavzone

    yeah, i dont have a MPEG-4" options either =/

  • @TheZeldak

Make sure to install the k-lite codec and match it with your operating system version. If you have 32 bit OS then download and install the 32 bit k-lite codec and 32 bit virtual dub. If these mismatch you will not have the correct codecs required to encode the video.

  • @TeamEPYX

Thanks for the reply =) I did manage to figure it out tho =D I am now uploading awesome videos on youtube (Not on this Youtube account tho, haha) Thanks again for the video! =)

  • @TheZeldak How did you get MPEG-4 to show up? I installed 64-bit klite and 64-bit virtualdub but no go :(

  • @YourePrettyGoood

Ok so I figured out the problem. The latest version of Klite codec does not give the option for MPEG-4. It actually only gives you 4 options. If you download Klite codec x64 3.40 (the version I used) all should be good. I have uploaded it to megaupload because I could not find it easily online. See description for link.

  • @TeamEPYX Thanks for the response. I accually got it working last night by downloading the latest xvid codec and everything is working great. thanks.

  • @YourePrettyGoood

Great to hear. I am not exactly sure why the latest version of klite does not have even 1/2 the number of options as the older one. The old one has 24 options the new version has 4 options for encoding. Weird. Good to hear there is other working alternatives such as xvid. I believe I tried that in the past but my videos only had audio after encoding in virtualdub, must be fixed now.

  • @TeamEPYX Thanks a lot! It works just fine now. :D

  • THX MAN!

  • ty soooooo much this is my answer!!!! ive been looking for soo long thanks so much!

  • @RazorvProductions your welcome. We hope you enjoy!

  • getting alot blur of the final encoded product, pretty annoying :s any idea how to fix that?

  • @Kalazzz

what is the bitrate of the video you are encoding at? Make sure to copy exactly what I had in that window.

  • Just passing through to say thanks for the video, wow vid incoming :)

  • thx, I will be adding some comments when I have a chance to make sure everything is crystal clear.

  • Cool, nice video..Thankx :D
