We're in 10 trillion debt haha... Now we are 14 Trillion in debt thanks to Obama spending more than any other president in history... Epic Fail on the part of the voters... McCain would have been a better choice by far.. but people wanted to try something new by electing a black person, at least this taught a lot of naive voters a valuable lesson, vote based on experience and intelligence, not race.
[follows on from last comment] I know some americans might read this and think my points are not valid due to me being English, but all i can say is that The world has left the decision to make a man the most powerful man in the world to the Americans.. i just hope they made the right choice.

Anyone choosing Obama needs to research his political background in Chicago. Nothing new just a black empty shell instead of a white empty shell. Obama is black and if thats what im voting for i might have to vote "present".)
Anyone choosing McCain better brace for 4 years of mediocre domestic policy with increased military spending. He won't wreck us just drive us deeper into the abyss. (noted by his vote for the bailout he oppossed.)
But a Romney/Huckabee or Paul/Romney would have been great

We have huge problems within our government that need fixing that call for spending. I don;t think America can afford another 4 years of the same thing: vetoing spending bills yet spending millions on pointless wars.
Also the thought of anything happening to McCain and Palin being put in charge of our country, scares the hell out of me!
I choose none of the above! I don't care for either one of them personally! As a responsible citizen of this great country, I will do my civic duty, and vote. I think Obama is easily the way to go, the only way to pay off our debt and fix this country is to change things. And you can't change things without spending money for the new things, there's just no way.
Obama want to give Kenya (Who is father is a leader of) free citizenship to the US while telling Mexicans a screw you.
I dont agree with any illegal nor free citizenship. We should try to help Kenya in their own country, we cant afford a whole other country. And personally i hate his stupid. "If your against me your racist" card. But as some one deriving from the military, Obama is scary. He wants to close down some of the bases.
in my opinion neither canidate has earned the right to my vote. i'm still a bit uncertain as to who i'm going to vote for. neither, i don't think, are going to be able to pull the US out of the hole that good 'ol bush was able to plunge us into. sadly he had earned my vote and has disappointed me during his second term =(
Obama! i am Canadian and know more about American politics then i do about Canadian ones. tonight i chose to watch the vice president debate instead of my own Canadian one. the US election has more influence on my country then my own election. From all that i have watched, Obama is the best choice for America.
Ron Paul..but he's no longer running, he has the solution to both of the issues you had with McCain and Obama. He upholds the constitution, decreases spending, and gets us fully out of the war.
Of the 4 running candidates I'd like Bob Barr, Nader second, then obama, and last McCain.
I'm a British citizen, and I think Obama should fly over here and run for PM. Get Brown out, says I.
Seriously though, Obama seems like the better man for the job to me. I think it's sad indeed that some people in America are finding it difficult to come to terms with the fact that a man of colour is so close to living in the White House.
obama because i feel like mccain won't do shit for the economy. like honestly, he's all talk and now action. im not gunna vote for someone who plans to get their votes from sympathy by being like ZOMG YOU GUYS. IM A POW. VOTE FOR ME. plus he's too old. like you're supposed to retire at 65.. like give up already.
im not sure who i would vote for, because i believe that this new president is like the paver for a new america. our country is in need right now and the next president's job is to be the catalyst and start the reforms the we need to rebuild our country. especially with the economy crisis because i have a friend from denmark who i was talking to and basically if our economy goes bad, so does theirs.
so this new president cant make any extreme changes right away, its just impossible. but they do have the power to pave the road for our country's future.
I live in Sydney & to be honest I was hoping Hilary Clinton would have been chosen. With Hilary you would have also been voting for Bill Clinton who for me was America's best president of the last 25 years.
Obama is a brilliant orator but I'm yet to see anything concrete from him. Meaning what does he stand for? he says change. What does that mean? I would like to hear him stand up and say these are the countries main issues & these are my policies to deal with these issues.
I'm for neither as well. I haven't heard either one say anything that will guarantee they they get my vote. Since "neither" is not really an option on the ballot, I still don't know as of yet who I'm going to vote for. Well, technically, neither is an option, but that would require me to not vote, I guess...and I just can't do that.
I'd much rather see Ron Paul as president (even though that wasn't an option) than either of the men who have the real chance of winning. He advocates a full return to the CONSTITUTION, which has been actively, though not entirely, ignored since Lincoln's presidency and the Civil War.
Both Obama and McCain have fairly socialistic policies, though frankly, McCain is slightly less radical than Obama.
I would pick Obama, because he seems much more intent on stopping the "war on terrorism" *cough warforoil* Too many people have died (on both sides) for it to continue.
Obama. I feel like he will do what needs to be done to fix things and make things better for this country. I feel like he would listen to ideas of other people and actually take the time to consider them. and not just do what his party thinks is right.
He also gives me hope.
Butt loads of hope.
plus McCain just doesn't seem right in the head. and we don't need another one.
honestly, it depends on ure situation. obama is helping the school system and wants to stop the war. mccain on the other hand wants to keep on fighting and something else but i forget. in my opinion obama since im still in school and 14 years old =P so hopefully the school systems might be better with him in the office
Obama 08! McCain wants to continue this war, and I think that is playing a major factor in our crappy economy. Plus, he wants to continue a lot of Bush's policies, and is only a little different. Obviously it isn't working well. And to be honest, I think some of his stances are close-minded. Change isn't always a good thing, but why continue running our country like this?
And Mike - I know you like neither, but still, who do you think would do a better job?
as far as i can see,in the voters eye,its between palin and obama at this point.the vice presidential candidate is getting more attention than the actual candidate, now what does that say about him?so judging from that,i have to say i truely dislike palin, just from seeing her speech made me realize that she is the wrong choice.and voting with bush 90% of the time, mcain?lets not be stupid america.you know you dont like our current president,so why would you make that mistake again?
That is the stupidest thing I have ever head. If you believe the race is between obama and palin then you are being ignorant and should not be allowed to vote. Also if you go by the 90 percent of the time he voted for Bush then once again you are being ignorant and not looking at their views and should not be allowed to vote.
oh really now?so everyone else who mentioned palin is an idiot too?well good for me.
its just my opinion.
I KNOW its still between obama and mcain, but the vp candidates still play a big part in the whole thing, especially in this election.i am looking at their views, but im just saying you should take into account how mcain thinks similar to how george bush does.if you still think that i shouldnt be allowed to vote, then im happy for you for having an opinion, but your not going to change me.
haha, well, I think you recommendation is a good suggestion, Miss Emiline(I'm assuming you're the same person, considering the content of each channel), because: 1. It's Regan, and he was badass, and 2. Because once the world sees were crazy enough to reinstate a President, even after he's dead, they'll know we're batshit crazy and won't fuck with us ever again. Haha.
For some reason, my spiel sounds familiar...like it's someone's comedy routine...did I just accidentally rip someone off?
I'm personally a supporter of Obama because McCain just isn't a viable option in my mind. This whole economic mess has proven that the trickle down theory that McCain supports just doesn't work, thanks to the insatiable greed of certain people. And though Obama's proposed plans would increase government spending, he has conceded that due to our economic climate, he would (most likely and unfortunately) not be able to accomplish everything that he'd like to.
resident mike lee COUGH COUGH but we have to wait til 2016 for that to happen.
i was thinking about both candidates before i fell asleeplast night. that came out wrong...
but i was like both of them have their obvious faults and it's like mccain is old and if he dies palin will become president and of course we dont want another bush plus this political science teacher at my school says if mccain dies and palin becomes pres she wnt be very good. on the other hand i agree obama has fantastic
I'd prefer to see Obama., Even tho I'm 15 and from a small town in canada but I think that even with the Economical problems going on, Obama would make a good president, he's smart enought to realize whats going on to eventualy fix it.
Barack Obama. I swear, this man has sooo much going for him and he's got so many good ideas. I feel like John McCain is only more and more of the bull that George Bush has been trying to feed us for the past 8 years. We need a change and Obama/Biden is what I feel is gonna bring it.
Though I'm not really happy with either candidate this election, I'm still supporting McCain over Obama. Mainly, the spending problems you mentioned are what bother me most, but I also can't ignore his complete lack of experience.
then again, I can't stand EITHER of the vice presidential candidates.
I'll look into the money issue with Obama, but I like just about everything else about him, minus a few his war plans.
McCain represents what I don't want this country to turn into, and half the time Palin sounds like she has no clue what she's talking about. To think that the republican party nominated HER over mush smarter candidates just shows how desperate they are to get the female vote.
I like that you're not afraid to share your opinions. Too many people are afraid to share what they REALLY think.
Neither of them scream MAKE ME PRESIDENT because like you pointed out, they both come with flaws. I basically dislike McCain for the reasons you provided but I dislike Palin more. I don't think she knows what she's doing.
If I were to choose the president, I would choose Obama. You make a valid point about the spending issue but I believe he could solve the foreign policy thing.
Even though I don't agree with everything he says, I would like to see Ron Paul in office. I don't think that his crazier ideas such as abolishing the IRS will occur because of what Mr. Sock puppet said, but I think that he would do a good job of cutting spending and preventing new spending from passing like the bail out that's going to have another round in the house soon.
I had watched the first vid and figured out how it worked. the only thing I missed was the noodle part. w00t 4 noodles!
I'm voting Obama, because, as you say, McCain is scary. Also because I'm gay, and I can't vote for someone who wants to prevent me from having/take away my rights.
As for where Obama will get more money, I imagine a lot of it will come from higher taxes on the rich, and I'm all for that.
I'm definitely not in love with either of them. And like one of your videos, I kinda hate the fact that America is a two-party system. Sometimes, though, we have to accept the fact that we have to choose one or the other. There is never going to be the perfect candidate.
If I could vote, I would vote for Obama. John McCain has lied ridiculous amounts and I don't agree with his policies. I also think the issues Obama cares about the most are the ones we should be spending the most attention on.
quasi-senile old guys, besides, if McCain dies in office (likely) then we have to deal with President Palin, and that is simply unacceptable to me. I'm thinking about moving to Canada if McCain gets in office. I don't WANT to run away from problems, but damn.
As a new subscriber I am loving the fact I am now a noodle. That is ruddy cool!! And yes, enjoying the discussion on this channel a lot, have been manically going back trying to catch up on what I've missed....
erm... I understand there used to be another two people running the channel. I assumed that they had just ended as their one year time in the vlogging of noodleness had come to an end? ...
I live in the UK, but I really hope all of you in the US vote for Obama. Mostly it's because I really don't like the things McCain stands for... I hate the whole homophobic (gay adoption), pro-life, pro-guns, pro-hunting, pro-abstinence only education, not giving a damn about global warming thing (I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting)
Plus the fact he chose Palin to be his VP makes me really question his judgement and only increases my dislike for him, she irritates me more than he does.
Not to be the devil's advocate...but check's and balances could also be applied to this vlog. All I seem to get is the constant, "The system is broken, the candidates suck and we're going to hell." Can I get something positive about our political system? Compared to nearly everybody else, this thing we got is a dream...again, devils advocate speaking.
Well, for the most part, we still have our free speech, and some people in other parts of the world don't have that.
But whether or not you want to hear about it, the fact of the matter is that at this point in time there are more negatives about our government than positives.
I mean, today's estimates put congress's approval rating at 10%. Think about that. That means that 270,000,000 Americans don't feel like congress is representing them properly. Something is majorly wrong here.

Obama! i am Canadian and know more about American politics then i do about Canadian ones. tonight i chose to watch the vice president debate instead of my own Canadian one. the US election has more influence on my country then my own election.

IM A POW. VOTE FOR ME. plus he's too old. like you're supposed to retire at 65.. like give up already.
withallmylove999 3 years ago
im not sure who i would vote for, because i believe that this new president is like the paver for a new america. our country is in need right now and the next president's job is to be the catalyst and start the reforms the we need to rebuild our country. especially with the economy crisis because i have a friend from denmark who i was talking to and basically if our economy goes bad, so does theirs.
thlover27 3 years ago
so this new president cant make any extreme changes right away, its just impossible. but they do have the power to pave the road for our country's future.

Butt loads of hope.
plus McCain just doesn't seem right in the head. and we don't need another one.

branthony1151 3 years ago
And Mike - I know you like neither, but still, who do you think would do a better job?

as far as i can see,in the voters eye,its between palin and obama at this point.the vice presidential candidate is getting more attention than the actual candidate, now what does that say about him?so judging from that,i have to say i truely dislike palin, just from seeing her speech made me realize that she is the wrong choice.and voting with bush 90% of the time, mcain?lets not be stupid america.you know you dont like our current president,so why would you make that mistake again?
sodapopaudge 3 years ago
That is the stupidest thing I have ever head. If you believe the race is between obama and palin then you are being ignorant and should not be allowed to vote. Also if you go by the 90 percent of the time he voted for Bush then once again you are being ignorant and not looking at their views and should not be allowed to vote.
30tmac 3 years ago
oh really now?so everyone else who mentioned palin is an idiot too?well good for me.
its just my opinion.

Haha.

blath 3 years ago
I'm personally a supporter of Obama because McCain just isn't a viable option in my mind. This whole economic mess has proven that the trickle down theory that McCain supports just doesn't work, thanks to the insatiable greed of certain people. And though Obama's proposed plans would increase government spending, he has conceded that due to our economic climate, he would (most likely and unfortunately) not be able to accomplish everything that he'd like to.

Though I'm not really happy with either candidate this election, I'm still supporting McCain over Obama. Mainly, the spending problems you mentioned are what bother me most, but I also can't ignore his complete lack of experience.

I basically agree with everything you said.

You make a valid point about the spending issue but I believe he could solve the foreign policy thing.
robotfr0m1984 3 years ago
obama mccain championed deregulation that cause our actual biggest issue and now he claims he just wants to get rid of greed. What bullshit.
ANewRevolution 3 years ago
Im not really into either of them but.
I'd have to say Obama.
he has some great ideas,
but as you said, the money issue with obama is huge.
And basically everything you said about McCain is why I dislike him.
But what does a little Canadian know? ;)
LmaoItSucks 3 years ago
Even though I don't agree with everything he says, I would like to see Ron Paul in office. I don't think that his crazier ideas such as abolishing the IRS will occur because of what Mr. Sock puppet said, but I think that he would do a good job of cutting spending and preventing new spending from passing like the bail out that's going to have another round in the house soon.
I had watched the first vid and figured out how it worked. the only thing I missed was the noodle part. w00t 4 noodles!
thephant0m 3 years ago
obama because mccain scares me. same reason as you. and that palin is not experienced or educated enough to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.
rippeddollarbill 3 years ago
I'm voting Obama, because, as you say, McCain is scary. Also because I'm gay, and I can't vote for someone who wants to prevent me from having/take away my rights.
As for where Obama will get more money, I imagine a lot of it will come from higher taxes on the rich, and I'm all for that.
Cadwaladr 3 years ago
I'm definitely not in love with either of them. And like one of your videos, I kinda hate the fact that America is a two-party system. Sometimes, though, we have to accept the fact that we have to choose one or the other. There is never going to be the perfect candidate.
If I could vote, I would vote for Obama. John McCain has lied ridiculous amounts and I don't agree with his policies. I also think the issues Obama cares about the most are the ones we should be spending the most attention on.
FueledByIsabel 3 years ago
I want to see Obama in office.
I prefer quasi-unrealistic ideas to
quasi-senile old guys, besides, if McCain dies in office (likely) then we have to deal with President Palin, and that is simply unacceptable to me. I'm thinking about moving to Canada if McCain gets in office. I don't WANT to run away from problems, but damn.

Compared to nearly everybody else, this thing we got is a dream...again, devils advocate speaking.
theaarondelay 3 years ago
Well, for the most part, we still have our free speech, and some people in other parts of the world don't have that.
But whether or not you want to hear about it, the fact of the matter is that at this point in time there are more negatives about our government than positives.
I mean, today's estimates put congress's approval rating at 10%. Think about that. That means that 270,000,000 Americans don't feel like congress is representing them properly. Something is majorly wrong here.
