I think that the new intel I series kind of sets a new standard and now I won't buy a compute without at least an i3. Our desktop has an i7, 8 gb ram, 500 gb hard drive lol. It's like a Dell XPS 1200 or 1100 or something like that it's their most powerful XPS model.

@theboss123ism depending, if your lptops is gonna be used for homeworks, powerpoints and for the internet, i recommend a HP 2230s or a Dell 15R

just go to dell(dot)com and select the inspiron computers under the "for home" tab... i dont know much about hp computers so u mit wanna check hp web page
