If you like this song Stone Fox Chase I have 2 harp tutorial videos with tabs on my site StoneFoxChaser. It´s a different version than this superb playing from Charlie McCoy.

Where do you stand in the great bullshit debate? What are your views about bullshit? Is it a significant social force? Is it an important element of modern society? Has bullshit developed in recent years? Is the quality of bullshit as high as in the 1990s? Or do you not have views? Do you need advice from a bullshit guidance expert?
Should bullshit become a way of life? Should the future of bullshit be regulated by government legislation, or by qualified independent consultants?
Hi, 2nd position on the Harmonica is when you are mainly playing the draw chords 5 keys up from the rest of the band. An example would be that the band plays in the key of A, you would need a key of D Harmonica in the 2nd position which makes it an E. Hope this kind of explains. Cheers
I dont have a tab for this tune, but it all happens around the 2d 3d 4d&b you will need to bend the 2&3 draw especially on the opening riff. Just keep listening to the tune in sections, that way it's quite easy to copy.
The only thing is the tune is being played on an Aflat harp, but sounds good on a C as well.
The best Music Show in the Planet, good old whistling Bob Harris. Never forget Leo Sayer and Patti Smith on the show, Soul Train ran it close but TOGWT is pure genius, the Beeb should bring it back and get Jo Wiley to present, whoah!

I wonder who the backing musicians were. The original was recorded with a group that went on to become "Barefoot Jerry" down in Nashville, TN.

Thanx Charlie I grew up with this song. Is it correct that "Stone Fox Chase" was played on a Hohner "Special 20" in the key of A.?

The Guy on the right is Charlie McCoy who wrote the tune, which was used as the theme for THE OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST.
