God made Adam/Eve for himself to have a relationship with him! However he did not want robots he wanted man to love & worship him freely as he does today! God created two trees in the garden, Tree of life and the Tree of knowledge of good and evil! God gave them a choice, as he does today, they chose to disobey which was the fall of mankind! Where Adam fell, Jesus through his death/resurrection made a way back to God. Only through Jesus can we have a restored relationship with God.
