This is actually the first Mario I've ever played when I was 7. Not only is it one of the best Mario games ever, but it's also the first game where I've heard Mario. I didn't even know who the hell Mario was till I played this game for the first time and I've been a Mario fan ever since.

Best MK ever made. Then comes MKDS. MKDD: new gameplay and graphics, MKDS: 4 additional cups and online ! MK Wii was ok I guess. MK7 is okay too... but because it's IDENTICAL to MK Wii: the menus, the music, EVERYTHING ! I really hope the next one will bring back MKDD's two characters/kart, MK Wii's 12 kart/race and add Diddy Kong Racing's unique air & water gameplay ! 'Cause let's be honest: MK Wii's motorcycles and MK7's deltaplanes & submarines didn't do ANYTHING towards gameplay... AT ALL !!

it's a fun game...great graphics and sound, the co-op play is a great twist.. BUT, I still think Crash Team Racing with its old PS graphics is still one of the best kart racers of all time!

Mario & Luigi: fire, Peach & dasiy: Hearts, Yoshi & Boirdo: Eggs, Wario & Waluigi: Bombs Koopas: Triple Shells, Baby's: Chomp, Bowser & Bowser Jr.: Big Shell, DK & ...DK: Big Banana, Toad and Toadette: Golden mushroom, KingBoo and plant: ...Boo?(I've never unlocked those 2) Man I really wish I still had Double Dash, it was my 2nd fav.

I like your reviews, but I have two problems.

- Your into is terrible, the windows movie maker style really ruins it and the music is bad.

- In the parts were you record something with your camera with your brother and sister are funny, but it is very hard to hear what you are saying.

I really liked this game a lot. I first got this game for Christmas back in 2003 and have loved it ever since. Although I do enjoy all of the Mario Kart games, I hope that they make another one with this same dual-character type of gameplay one day. :)

This was (and still is), one of my all time favorite Game Cube games. ^______^

The double character/ double items gameplay was great, the co-op mode was fun, and the LAN play was sweet. ~______^

I really hope that they revisit the "double-style" gameplay in a future Mario Kart game. Double Dash forever!! ^ O ^
