  • i never trust someone who jabs his finger a lot in speeches....

  • EU (+USA-World ) are facing an organized "short" attack by neocon Hedge-Funds & speculators who -by their CEO-partners- control 2 trillion dollars in assets (60 % from EU-USA own pensions ! ) and to crash EU -Global Economy to get key assets cheap. By holding back investments they are slowing down the whole World economies: Workers,Consumers and Taxpayers need leaders with new "Job & Growth " ideas and a strong will to fight these extortionist organized gangsters. financialtools1.blogspot.com

  • As you wish my master Barroso, you know better than me ,you are a man who live 1500 km from my home and know the solution for problem of my region .

  • European Union or should I say the European Parliament paves the way to bankruptcy and ruination it is a sewer rat infestation of the ineducable.

Get out of our country and take your lives, your theft, your greed and your gross incompetency with you!

Britain does not need the European Parliament, so please do us a favour and get out of our country, before your scrawny, rotten ill gotten politicians bankrupt us all

Support UKIP And True Finns, And Say No To The European Parliament!

  • We would like to thank European Union and European Parliament and All Member States and all western friends , for Not Accepting Turkey'S possible membership in the European Union after seeing you Guyz doing great with your own Economies , otherwise we would collapse all together ...... .

  • @istanbultravellers You ought to be thankful, you had a lucky escape, Norway manages quite well without this den of iniquity and financial ruin. Fortunately also the UK did not adopt the Euro!

I am a little sad, though because my partner comes from Finland, Europe is beautiful, it has so much to offer. In fact it is not Europe that is bad, it is only the politicians who are making a mess of it. Sadly that is typical, those we elect these days seem to be those of the grossest incompetency.

  • Some might argue that the European Union should never have been born; perhaps, but now that it's here, its demise might be even worse. So, where to go from here? Deeper European integration or EU dissolution (gradually and orderly, if that's at all possible, or swift and chaotic)?

    What a paradox!

  • @krislyttle It is not the European Union which should not have been born. it is the European Parliament, it is there where all problems lie. Sadly there is little hope until politicians of member countries, not those who represent the European Parliament, remove the powers of this overgrown, overpowered beast.

As I have said below, Europe is wealthy, it is beautiful and filled with history good and bad, and culture. Were it not for the damnable politicians it could be the envy of the world.

  • @Sliepnir2006 So keep the EU, but ditch parliament... OK, but with any kind of union, leadership still need to come from somewhere; if it's not a parliament, then where?

  • @Sliepnir2006 your very unusual in that you blame the eu parliament rather than the eu commision. however the politicians in the eu parliament are no diffrent than politicans in westminister.

  • The FTT will be the death of the City of London's financial sector. I hope the British Government resists this tax with all available means.

  • sick little dictator

  • Really really scary! No taxation without representation!

Somehow, I think of the medieval catholic church imposing its unfair taxes on the people of Europe. Today, it's not a "Peter penny", but a "Barroso blank". How could these taxes EVER encourage growth and business and prosperity in Europe? Those which are at the heart of Europe's problems.

  • Hope Sweden stays out of this crap. Banks will always transfer costs to customers & transactionfees will go the same way.

  • lol proud to add a tax on the financial sector..... that later ahead will be turned on to the customers lol ....... bravo bravo !!!!! what a joke

  • @Cliftonaquilina The FTT is for high speed transactions....do you move Billions every second to make millions? I guess not...so you must not worry....

  • @matmuintheuk would you therefore agree that there is a distinct lack of democracy in the current british governing system.

  • @matmuintheuk i dont see why not. out finanicial sector has made huge amounts of money out of the euro zone.

  • Britain needs to get out while it still can.

  • @1988scottcarey britian will have serious economic problems if it tries.

  • the EU has the potential to merge governments into a Confederacy of State Nations. It's a noble thought, but it requires the sane ones to get along amongst nations, and think big rather than independently. I think its an investment, but that's for Europeans to decide..

  • tax the rich yeaahh I like it, no really I would love it!!!

  • EU will print more euro paper to let the raping continue in the world of the products

  • @antonKASA2007 The ECB decides not to print extra euros, unless what the Americans do.

  • I think Germany won't let this pass...

  • Barroso YES

European Union is the way to the future!

    GO EU!

  • @samhamels You can get his job if you can highlight this with some facts

  • @samhamels We all know how things go if people can't keep their identity (in this EU superstate of Barroso). It could lead to fascism.

  • @samhamels Yes, go corrupt eurocrats...

  • This guy is dangerous. The scary thing is he appears to be completely oblivious to the failures of the European Union and has absolutely no respect for the self determination of nation states. The sooner we (U.K) get out the better. Last one out of Brussels please turn off the lights.

  • Now thats something i approve off.

  • BYE EU BYE EURO

    YOU ARE FINISHED

    EU = DEBT UNION.

  • eu is a failure.

  • BARROSO - the communist. Barroso admitted his favorite book is of Karl Marx's

    BARROSO - ENEMY OF DEMCORACY

  • @NewRuss2011 you don't have to be communist to enjoy reading karl marx's books...

  • @NewRuss2011 wtf diff does it make if he's a commie or not, when he actually does good to Europe and your homeland too. your problem is, that you can't argue with what he says anymore, so you argue with his personality. I hate the communist ideas, but the Tobin-tax is fair, it's necessary and it's most importantly irreplaceable.

  • MERDE

  • YUCK

  • Great Speech!

  • When this gets implemented I see financial institutions leaving Europe in droves. Hither, hither, Honkg Kong welcomes you all!

  • Oh bloody hell. This will really hurt the UK.

  • @Ashitaka255 the UK said it will veto this bill. so this tax will affect the 17 eurozone countries. And i Cant wait for financial firms in paris and frankfurt to transfer their headquarters to london.

  • @Vidcon2014 you have just shown a huge ignorance of french companys.

  • subtitles for the french part would have been nice. I have just understood the last french part. He sounded like Wilhelm II in that part.
