To say that anybody "can't defend against the knee" is unrealistic. The simplest defense against the knee (especially at Jaa's slowed speeds) is the downward elbow, a staple of Northern Mantis, which Li is proficient at. Acrobatics and stunt dancing are not FIGHTING.

Li was a fighter before he was an actor. Jaa... jumped around a lot imitating real martial artists then became a stuntman.

Discipline vs. showmanship. No contest. Li would defeat Jaa quickly but mercifully.

@EyeAgree jet li has never been in a fight......he even said it in a interview look for it on youtube showmanship..... jet li is the master of this mostly on wires .... slow speeds...... Jaa makes real contact with power behind it ........ they are both great but dude..... they are nothing alike ....i love Jet also but in a real fight Jaa would over power him .... not that this would ever happen they both like each other oh and Jaa is not imitating he is a mix of many things ..... like MMA
