I did not want to take anything away from Revis, because both are special talents, but in somany debates last year I had to hear that Revis had so many more interceptions than Nnamdi. This season Revis had zero interceptions. Does this mean he had a bad season? No. It just goes with the territory that these two guys are so good that QBs will not throw near them. Nnamdi reached this status some time ago and now Revis caught up.

There is a difference between a great player ,who is almost always on the opposing #1 recievers, on a great defense and a great player on mediocre/bad defenses that usually sticks to one side.Wk 1-6,(hamsting injury but still not an exuse)Revis allowed 8 completions for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns on 22 targets, an average of 8.9 yards per attempt.For the rest of the season, Revis gave up 11 catches for 153 yards and no touchdowns on 35 targets. Thats the definition of shutdown

They dont throw to Nnamdi because they dont have to. Against the Jets last year Nnamdi was covering Brad Smith, the jets 4th receiver. Revis always on #1's on both sides of the field and gets thrown to. If Nnamdi goes to a good team and continues his awesome #'s then we will all see if he is better. Till then, I dont think you can say he is the best. Just my opinion tho.

@skill14 I think it's really hard to compare the two, because they have such different playing styles. Nnamdi mostly plays strong side so he's not always against #1 receivers, and that's a fair statement; however, he essentially eliminates 50% of the field which is extremely valuable. Revis can cover top receivers, and hold them to 1-2 receptions, but I think he has a lot more help from his team mates than Asomugha. Like you said though, if he gets a better team, then we'll make the call.
