I left the tails upon the request of my buyers...these pups were bought and paid for and some folks like them with tails and request that I leave it...I personally prefer the tail docked and all my own heelers have docked tails, but I respect other folks and their opinions and preferences...

Bummer you just ruined your litter by chopping off there tails you may as well just call them austrailan shepards now...I wouldnt give a quid for one of those dogs...
I have heard that if a blue heeler is not purely white at birth it is not concidered a pure breed? Is that true? I myself have a blueheelerXKelpie, and she was not born completely white, but mostly white and then developed colour.
That is not true. They usually have solid black spots on them too. When they are about 2 weeks old their color starts to show. Oh and if its a Tri they will have red and black spots.

mine is all white with a brown spot of fur around his eye! named bandit, but hes the runt so hes the biggest baby
