You can see him battling to keep the tunes locked in, which you wouldnt have to do if he was using the laptop to mix as most dj software automaticly adjusts the bpm and he doesnt touch the laptop once. Plus he clearly doesnt have Serato or Traktor so he aint using time code vinyl and you see the records change each time.
