No matter how professional you make your natural hair look, they will never understand and act as if you're trying to make a radical political statement thus making you somewhat "intimidating" and threatening. The very sad thing is that, we get this from our own people! Perms should not be the norm, it should not be a mandatory solution to what God naturally gave us.

The side curls look a little lopsided and stick out a bit much. Just my opinion. Perhaps you can curl them or something? But other than that, you've done it again! Another rockin' but classy updo!

@bolinga27 BBBD has a FB fan page she told us this morning it was child something 2 graduate students i remember. she updates that OFTEN just 2 give u a heads up on where 2 keep updated on her. hope that helps u some :) and im with u i love the nappyheaded professional series too it really helps me with my transitioning to natural hair. i see that i can look professional without bone straight hair or weave (not knocking weave or perms)
